I was wondering if your employer is supposed to take out federal and state taxes or if it is optional, I'm pretty sure that they are supposed to by law. I got my pay check on Wednesday and they didn't take out federal or state taxes on it.

You only have one company to choose from in your area for instance cable? I thought there was some kind of law against that. We have no choice but to have Comcast for cable no one else is "availiable" Can anyone give me any advice I HATE COMCAST SO MUCH!

I was going to make this Spinach Cheese bake which I thought would be really delicious. But my honey asked me if I was going to be able to eat the whole thing after no one took a bite of it. OUCH!

So I'm looking for something new and interesting to take. I like recipes that will be conversation pieces.

Several days ago my foot began to hurt. Not my entire foot, just the top of it.

A day or two later it started becoming swollen.

Another day later the inside of my lower leg began to hurt.

This is really weird because there is no visible signs like bruising or redness. Only the swelling on the top of my foot. None of my joints hurt and I don't recall hurting it in any way. But even if I did, and I can't remember, why would the pain spread to my leg?

Lucky it is only mildly painful, but enough to cause me to limp at times. I don't have health insurance so a doctors visit is out of the question.

Is there any way I can find out what this is and how to treat it?

Why is it that whenever someone asks a question regarding having a c-section does someone come on and start spouting off about 'doing it the proper way'??
I'm sorry but it really irritates me as I cannot give birth naturally yet some people make me feel like less of a woman because I've had 2.
If it wasn't for the fact that c-sections were available, my child and I would be dead.
Perhaps it is because I am 7 weeks pregnant and irritable and I appologise if I seem to be ranting, but I wish people would not jump to conclusions about it.
Rant over lol!

I just got back from the doctors office. I am 60% and dilated to a 2. This is baby #4. Doctor says I can go anytime!!! :) My question is.. how long until labor for any ladies in my situation? My younger brother is very versatile in his music tastes, so he watches country music videos on CMT sometimes. I heard their song What hurts the most and saw the video and I really liked it! Although I will admit to getting a bit teary eyed with the video...made me think of when my bf (now ex) left me to go away to college. lol So I was wondering what other good songs they sing that anyone would recommend? For the record, I hate biased liberal media as much as I hate Fox. Truthout and Moveon (which hardly even qualify as traditional media outlets) tell blatant lies, the same as Fox. NPR doesn't tell outright lies, but they do broadcast news stories from a ridiculous left-wing perspective that is appreciated by very few Americans. They also give airplay to a lot of ridiculous left-wing crap that doesn't even really qualify as news. I don't even like the New York Times very much. As one of the nation's leading news sources, they make an effort to be objective, but it's not enough. Think if it as NPR lite.

That said, nothing is worse than Fox. The left-wing media is annoying, but it's lies and exaggerations don't kill anyone. Fox allows this administration to perpetuate its lethal bullsh*t. When Bush, Cheney, Rice, Rove, and Rumsfeld are facing the firing squad, I want to see Murdoch, Ailes, Hannity, O'Reilly, and Hume right next to them.

i have four teenage sons but one is 18 graduated and has his life already going good for him i have been a single mom since 96 when my ex walked out on all of us myself and four sons they were only 7 5 3 2 .i took full custody of them and i told my ex i was gonna sue him for cs he said if i did he would give up his rights i didnt know he couldnt do it. i was young when i had kids and got married i was only 15 and didnt know the law. well when he left like i said the boys stayed with me he seen them everyother weekend he would come back to the house and i would leave for the weekend cause he had no place to be with the kids.that went on for about 6mths .97 the custody matter was settled i got primary he got partial.he had every wednesday from 6 to 10pm,everyother wkend well he dropped the wednesdays and said it was to much.so he only seen them everyother wkend since 97 and holidays.there is alot to this story so i am gonna have to add info

I am scared that i am going through a mental break down.
I am so depressed. My depression comes and goes. Today i was typing at work and all of sudden i thought i was on the phone and i was about to say i have to call you back. I am scared. My moods goes up and down. What do you think? Thank you.
