Do curbside servers get paid a lesser wage because a tip is expected (like for a regular table waiter) or do they get paid more because the restaurant expects people to not tip? Please only reply if you actually work in a restaurant.

If there are people who have read any of his books and can...with evidence (besides the Bible because that is not evidence) prove that he is wrong...then do so here...simply quoting scripture is clearly not evidence. I am NOT mocking religion here. I sincerely want to know...

The God Delusion makes some really great points, that in my opinion are irrefutable. He makes great sense and can answer questions clearly and concise, unlike my priest are the many others that I have questioned.

I am asking for all religious people to prove your point with logic not blind faith...I am asking for evidence. If you cannot provide any...maybe you should find the answer and come back and answer it then. I do not want to hear religious ramblings...I know the bible, I am a confirmed catholic...please do not preach to me...for I have been preached at enough..I want clear cut answers...if you cannot provide them with evidence.

I am going through the roughest most alone time I have ever gone through and literally have nobody. I have a father-in-law (of soon to be exhusband) and I have someone to get some advice from but only from a distance. No friends, no parents, extended family or siblings. Not even childhood friends. I have gone to sunday school as a small child and weekly services but our family stopped when I was 8. When I was a teenager I went to youth group for a few months and also sunday service. I have never "Believed" in religion nor have I seen it to be anything more than a crutch for people who can't exist w/o knowing an indefinate fate or how we got here. Others have told me I should turn to God, but I don't think I can and I don't know how it would help. The whole concept of religion seems to be "made up" and a false sense of not being alone. I want something to help me get through this but how can I turn to religion/God? I'm almost willing but just can't see a point.

My 23 month old son and I are travelling to Italy and as he is under 2 years old, he is an infant which means I don't have to book an extra seat for him. This is the first time my son is travelling by air and I'm not quite sure how it works. Unfortunately calling Easyjet would cost me £1 per minute so I'm not really keen on the idea.

went to Dr. and he said it wasn't serious but i need to lie down and dont move alot. Counting calories is stupid. People don't have to spend there time counting how many calories they have eaten all day. If you are in middle school and you get school lunch then what do you do?Are you going to ask the lunch lady how much calories are in the sloppy joes?

This morning i went into our local shop to buy a mag. A huge overweight man was busy paying for a chocolate and some other stuff. A tiny little boy about 3 or 4 years old asked him to please buy him a sweet. The man who i presume to be the father said no , you are too naughty.
I walked outside and their was the Overweight pig standing right in front of the child eating the chocolate , the child then asked him for a piece and he opened his hand wide [ large fat hands ] and made them into claws and said the little boy , you know what will happen if you ask me again, you could see the child was petrified.
Felt like saying something to him but you could see that he would take a swipe at you , so i just kept quiet. What would you have done???

Some of you may have seen my handle and avatar being used to post an offensive unfunny video mocking the Virginia Tech tragedy. This is not me but some sicko who pretended to be the father of one of the victims at first posting the same video in questions and answers in a number of categories - ie spamming. I called him out on several of his threads to warn people not to fall for his scam and now he's imitating me posting the same crap. He's an immature twisted little sicko and I don't know why Yahoo hasn't banned his butt for spamming and turned over his ISP to the cops.

What to do? I've got this schizo sicko using my handle name and avatar posting this crap plus he's posting abusive comments on my Youtube videos.

He's been posting here as samurai_dave, ronindave (my youtube handle), bignastytruckdriver, father_in_mourning, and hotdogvendor and god knows what else.

What can be done about this? Has he pushed things too far to warrant investigation into his sanity?
