I had minor bleeding during the first 3 months of one of my pregnancies. The dr put me on bed rest. He told me I could get up to go to the bathroom, get something to eat/drink, move from one room to the other..just no housecleaning, cooking, or long periods of standing.

Everything turned out fine. As long as your dr. says everything is ok try not to worry. If the bleeding starts again I would ask for blood work to check the hcg levels and ask for an ultrasound (they should be able to see a sac).

Congrats and good luck

keep lying down, that was my mistake i was too active at my 5 wks i started bleeding but didnt think nothing, because some women have there periods when they are pregnant. Lost my baby at 7 wks ( 1month ago) Just RELAX and lay down a lot and take it slow until your doctor says it okay

Your doc should have been specific about how many days to rest. If not, give him a quick call and advise him of the stoppage, and ask what to do now
