Some of you may have seen my handle and avatar being used to post an offensive unfunny video mocking the Virginia Tech tragedy. This is not me but some sicko who pretended to be the father of one of the victims at first posting the same video in questions and answers in a number of categories - ie spamming. I called him out on several of his threads to warn people not to fall for his scam and now he's imitating me posting the same crap. He's an immature twisted little sicko and I don't know why Yahoo hasn't banned his butt for spamming and turned over his ISP to the cops.

What to do? I've got this schizo sicko using my handle name and avatar posting this crap plus he's posting abusive comments on my Youtube videos.

He's been posting here as samurai_dave, ronindave (my youtube handle), bignastytruckdriver, father_in_mourning, and hotdogvendor and god knows what else.

What can be done about this? Has he pushed things too far to warrant investigation into his sanity?

This isn't just about me - he's basically stalking the whole blame site and spamming that video link all over Answers. His dogged persistence to keep posting it under various handles is what I am referring to about his sanity. Stalking me is a minor affair but I wonder about his mental state to mock VT with a crappy video then spam post it everywhere repeatedly which is against rhe guidelines here.

I would think using someone's handle and personal avatar would also be grounds for banning.

Personally I'm not worried about the little sh*t as he's probably in some nowhere town and all of about 15 judging by his maturity. It's his mental state and his neighbors I worry about if he goes off the deep end and starts taking pot shots at them for real. I wonder if his persistence is really a cry for help that he wants someone to turn him like a number of would-be copycats have done following VT.

He's masquerading as me using my avatar and handle name - has anyone had that happen to them before? That's really pushing the envelope of stalkerdom.

But keep in mind this isn't just about me - it's his consistent spamming of the site with this sick video. If it was just a post or 2, I'd dismiss it as some troll but this guy has posted that link probably close to 100 times in questions and answers under 3-4 (maybe more) handles. Considering what he's making fun of (VT), it shows he's a sick individual. I wouldn't want to be his neighbor or classmate. He obviously has no shame, tact, remorse, or decency. I think Yahoo should treat this more seriously than just a garden variety stalker/spammer.

We don't need more obvious but overlooked signs and after remarks of:
"well, he also was kind of strange but I never thought he'd...."

I didn't get you banned, O Banned One, you got yourself banned for spamming and stealing my name and avatar. Free Speech doesn't include spam and identity theft. Learn from this experience or continue to suffer these little troubles that your lack of tact and common sense get you into.

If Yahoo did ban him, he would only come back. I've seen it done before a while back. This guy (called kentuckyderby if I remember) was posting the vilest paedophilic comments over and over - I mean really really offensive. People reported him, and yahoo banned him, but he would be back minutes later under a slightly different id with a new mail address no doubt.

You can't stop these people, and what this guy was doing and saying was far far worse than the guy you are talking about. Best thing to do is to ignore him. I have posted in a couple of his questions myself calling him a tool, but other than that you just have to leave him to his fun and games until he gets tired. No doubt he does this in between w@nking sessions when he's getting ready for the next. He's probably going for some sort of record.

This is what happens to people who can't get any sex. Feel sorry for him. It's not really his fault.

Welcome to the world of all the sickos, weirdos, perverts, idiots and all the yahoos who inhabit Yahoo Q and A. You can contact Yahoo but they won't do much, however I did have one guy doing a similar thing to me a few months ago and Yahoo addressed it. Hey, maybe this is the same guy, who knows! Just ignore this guy and he'll finally get bored and disappear. Better yet, change your identity on line and that will end the problem. All the crazy people out there are NOT locked up, and many are on the Internet!

nian3555 and waiching liu are reporting everyone for no reason. So you will probably get a violation notice for this question. Report them back and point out that people at Yahoo do not have the right to censor us just cos we don't agree or sympathizes with them. They have a friend at Yahoo who it trolling for them and "reporting violations" that don't exist against decent people, and they are encouraging violence and racism towards anyone who isn't either of them. They are insecure predators who have been luring victims off Yahoo Answers to meetings where victims are beaten and left in the streets unconscious. They are just like cho and need to be monitored for their violent behavior and are on the verge of being the next two cho-copycats one in Toronto and the other in London.

Welcome to the Internet generation.

If you ignore him he will eventually get bored with you and probably move on.

Maybe change your "handles".

Other than that, what makes you think anyone will take the time to "investigate" this? It happens to people all the time.

Unless he has threatened you physically or claims to know where you live etc. I don't think much can be done , or will be done. People will most likely tell YOU to change your online identity and move on.
