I have a question in American sign language..........
I am learning the Bible verse
"For God so loved the world, the he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life" John 3:16

Some of the words I can not find in sign language....like

Begotten
Whosoever
Should
Everlasting

An Indian boy/man (age 30), after two years, repeatedly refuses arrange marriage meetings his parents continue to set up for him. He continues to tell his parents that he is in love (and wants to marry) a caucasian girl, but they refuse to even consider this. He says if he marries someone in an arranged marriage that he does not love, he will make their life miserable. What will his parents do to him, over time, if he keeps refusing arranged marriage meetings and his parents refuse to accept his choice for marriage?

This is one of those things I find ridiculous about Christianity; which there are many. but...

Come on. Do you really think that the devil has a monopoly on a number?
It's people that give power to words (and I guess numbers in this case). It's like the N word. . or the F word. They are just words and have no power until people give those words power by being sensitive to it or taking offense.

Do you really believe that some ultimate evil in this universe has chosen this as his own? Or that it was given to him by god?
How do you feel about the number 13? Do you think this has similar supernatural powers? It's the same thing. Superstitious fools give this number meaning or "power"

religion and superstition go hand in hand. It's time to open your minds and give rational thought a try.

Okay this will sound kooky, but a "so-called Christian" recently sent me a charming email which ended with "GOD bless." It then went on to say that she said that to those she knew didn't deserve it, so the blessing was thus sent back to the blesser...

My coworker was fired due to a hate campaign perpetuated by another employee which is a doctor. Everyone including our manager agrees that the good doctor is a lunatic, the owners of the corporation said to fire my coworker, just to shut the doctor up, knowing that everything she said and wrote was a lie? Does a person have any recourse in this kind of situation?

I ALREADY DID MY BIG TAXES WHEN THIS LATE W-2 CAME IN AND I TRIED TO GET THAT DONE WITH HELP BY THE FEDERAL BUILDING BUT COULN'T FIND OUT WHERE THE STATE BUILDING WAS AND WITH MY BUSY SCHEDULE I LOST IT AND ORDERED ANOTHER W-2. I currently have a 91' Volvo 240, its runs good has 183,000 miles, no A/C,radio, and the paint is horribly chipped all over. I have put about $1,300 dollars in repairs. Over all it's a good car and 2 mechanics I have talked to said that it has relatively low mileage. Now I have an offer to buy a 95' Buick Regal Custom(has V6 engine, air and radio, leather seats) with only 44,000 miles for $800, but needs $600 to get it running.
Do ya'll think my Volvo is worth keeping for another 100,000 miles and put a lil money into it to have it looking a lil better and A/C or go for the American car?(my personal experiences with american cars have not been great, but has A/C/radio/and low miles)??????
