Perhaps making an appt at your doctors office to see if they're able to untie your tubes.....if not...then you should consider other options for your husband and you to have a child* BEST WISHES*
ps>>>you shouldn't be doing this to "make him happy" it should be something you BOTH will be happy about*~

I'm a mother of 5 with a step-daughter as well and as the years pass and I see the way everything is going up in price I would say stop and get those tubes tied. It will be permanent though there is no going back. Make him see it though. Show him how hard it will be financially to have another child and hopefully he will change his mind.Men just don't realize the pain we go through during the pregnancy, at birth and raising them. If you are not sure you don't want to have more kids then don't tie your tubes and find another means of birth control. Just remember to keep it up. My husband was the one who didn't want anymore kids but, we did talk about it and I agreed that we had enough. Now I know I did the right thing.

In some cases you can have it reversed. But, do not do this just to make your husband happy. You need to be sure that you want another child also. You had your tubes tied for a reason, so make sure that you are certain about it.

well obviously you got your tubes tied becaus you wanted no more kids, dont do it if you just want to make him happy, or if hes pressuring you. do it because you want to, I got my tubes tied also after having kids w my husband he sometimes sais he would like another baby I tell him sorry Im done! we women are the ones that suffer, so really think about what you want. and if you want, really, if your heart desires another child then go see your OB and ask if it can be reversed. if not then consider other alternatives(adoption). best of luck!

I know exactly how you feel. I am in a similar situation. My husband's only child was killed in a car wreck years ago and he has had no other children since. I have two daughter's, one of which he has become the father to. I want soooo bad to give him his own child. Our only options are: tubal reversal, invotro, and praying for a miracle. I know a woman who had her tubes tied and almost 7 years later, she found out that she was pregnant with twins. I'll send a prayer for you!

One should be pretty sure when they have their tubes tied, that future children aren't desired. Although it can sometimes be undone, it's not designed to be temporary.
Talk to your doctor.
P.S. You can't "make" anyone anything...happy, sad, mad, etc. A baby is no guarantee anyone is going to be happy. Make sure this is a mutual desire.

Sometimes it can be reversed. I would make an appointment with your doctor or gynecologist to see what options there are for you. If not, you can always adopt. There are plenty of children out there who need a loving family.
