MCL is a non-profit responsible for Toys for Tots, sending packages to troops overseas and helping with the rehabilitation of wounded soldiers. We are obviously holding a raffle to raise some extra funds for our endeavers. I need to know what the best way to get a good deal is. Should I call travel agencies or, perhaps, the hotels themselves? Please do not suggest Expedia or similar sights. I need to book something that has some flexibility so that the person who wins can use it at their convenience. Thanks for all your help.

Hello all heres my plan please offer insight if you got it.
I have a 75 gallon tank and some fish to move. The drive will take place over night on may 8th. The duration will be around 12-16 hours. I want to keep most all my water. In order to do this I plan on using hundreds of zipper ziplock bags to double back 3/4ths of a gallon each to keep the water from sloshing out of cheap rubber made tubs. As for the fish I was gonna get some over sized fish bags to house more room and air per fish. In order to maintain temperature I was gonna float these bags in a cooler and drill a hole in top of the cooler to drape in a heater for the pool of water. I would make sure that the bags had no wiggle room to minimize the jarring of the bags. Now the most complex part of this transport is the cooler and heated pool of water... Do i need this?

“ ‘I can’t do this anymore!’ she screamed, as she slammed her fist against the wall. She knew that her hand would soon be swollen, but she didn’t care. She didn’t care about much of anything anymore. Tears began to stream down her face as it occurred to her what she must do to stop the pain. And to stop the fear. She took a crumpled sheet of notebook paper from her backpack and proceeded to write out her explanation. A goodbye, of sorts. Her hand shook as she wrote’ I’m sorry to everyone who may be affected by this. But the only way for me not to be afraid anymore, is to finally face my greatest fear. In a moment I will be facing death. Do not feel sorry or sad for me. I will not be afraid, nor will I ever feel pain again. I am just too tired to keep on living like this. And I just can’t do it anymore. I hope you understand. I’m sorry…’. She folded up the note and placed it on her pillow, and layed down beside it, with a razor and a towel in her hand. She slid the towel underneath her

I noticed a lot of single moms want a father figure for their kids. I have two, but their father is involved and I don't want to bring another one around. I'd rather date a little (get my needs met every once in a while) and focus on my kids and job than put forth more energy into a relationship (I've been through two busted ones in the past few years).

A lot of friends don't think this is a good idea, they seem to think that mothers should find someone to marry and live with, but my situation is different. My oldest son is autistic, and he may never be able to live on his own, and I feel it would be better to raise him alone in my house with visits to his father's house. A lot of women don't understand my position. What's your opinion?

The story is we have always filed married filing jointly, but my husband is now self-employed, is it beneficial for him to file separately or continue to file jointly. He wants to be able to get self employed health insurance and you need to have an income of more than 10K a year. How would we save the most thru jointly or separately? NY, USA

Thanks in advance.

I recently posted a question, and only got a few responses. So I reposted this past weekend. It was reported for violation, but I didn't use profanity, refrained from direct name calling. I did us the term "Neocon" just to shorten Neoconservative, which I believe to be a legitimate term and not derogatory. My Question involved Iraq being the "cemetary of NeoCon dreams". Meaning because our assertions to the world on Iraq have proven to be false, we have lost credibility and integrity in the world it has impacted our Global Authority. We told the world there were WMD's and there were none so what are the chances of them believing us next time? The "cry wolf" scenario. It has greatly deminished our "soft power" that is merely because we say so and have big guns, gets the job done and supports the "hard power" or use of military force. So our influence has decreased. I thought it was a broad overhead analysis and I was hoping for constructive intelligent discourse and got reported.

On June 12, 2005, my 2 month old son died. He had previously been seen at the local ER and by his physician the next day, and we were told he was okay. Twelve days after, my husband was sleeping with him on the couch after he woke for a feeding. About three hours later my husband awoke to find him not breathing. He could not be revived, and was found to have died from RSV. We loved our son very much and planned to make a wonderful life for him. We, as parents, did everything we believed was required to be a parent. So my question for the masses is...
Why would God allow something like to this to happen? It has taken a huge toll on his family and the ones who loved him. Why allow one to have a baby, just to rip him away.
Also, for the religious ones, do you believe when you are born that God already has your life plan set for you? Does he already know the grief that will come to you through your journey?

"In every country where man is free to think and to speak, differences of opinion will arise from difference of perception, and the imperfection of reason; but these differences when permitted, as in this happy country, to purify themselves by free discussion, are but as passing clouds overspreading our land transiently and leaving our horizon more bright and serene." --Thomas Jefferson to Benjamin Waring, 1801.

Do you agree with the sentiment or are we all just tilting at windmills? It looks more like threatening storm clouds to me at times.......

I found out our 9 yaer old son is not mine, she let me believe he was.We just had another baby which I am now questioning, because she would hang out all night on our deck with our neighbor, some times till 4 am,2 or 3 times a week. All she says is they have alot in commen.I get home from work at 3 pm and she is still sleeping,(tired from being up all night),this went on for 2 summers. In the winter he would have bon fires, and she hates being out in the cold, but she had to go to his fires. He moved to another state a week before the baby was born, it just dont seem right to me.

Me and my husband have been together for nearly six years and we are expecting our first born this summer. We have just recently been married although not much has changed.
He is absolutly addicted to porn. He says it has nothing to do with me, and promises not to do it anymore when I confront him, but sure enough I catch him again...always on accident. I want to experiance a more sexual relationship with him, but I feel akward when all that he shows interest in is porn. I love him with all my heart, but I feel that if this is not resolved, our marriage could crumble. Is this all in my head or do I have a point? I understand "boys will be boys," but our sex life is always put on the back burner- no matter how much I try to engage in sexual activity, he shows no interest in it. This has gotten dramatically worse in the last few months, and being pregnant makes it even more emotionally draining. Is it really me?

I drink about once a week but when I do I drive to the liquor store almost as if I'm on a mission. I get home or go out to friends and I start drinking and I drink and drink and drink even if I know I'm drunk..it's like I just want to keep on drinking. The next morning I'm so hungover and I'm sick all day, throwing up and with a headache and I wonder how I managed to drink so much because I don't conciously think of it at the time. I keep telling myself that I will never drink again but I ALWAYS DO. Am I an alcoholic?
