Do you agree with the sentiment or are we all just tilting at windmills? It looks more like threatening storm clouds to me at times.......

Jefferson had an erudite mind and a gifted pen. It would be great to see a video of Jefferson speaking. I think we would consider him aloof and unrealistic in today's "live for the second bombastic media driven culture", but, who knows. :Long live Jeffersonian ideals!

In a free society, you have a constitutional right to make an idiot of themselves. See Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Rosie, Laurie David, Sean Penn, etc...

I agree wholeheartedly with that statement. Woe is the day when free speech is hobbled and restricted by political correctness.
