" Winset, 37, of Newton called the college’s decision to fire him “pathetic,” and said it will have a “chilling effect” on professors’ willingness to engage in open discussions about controversial issues.
“A classroom is supposed to be a place for academic exploration,” he said. “It’s just gotten so politically correct. It’s sad that we have come to this point.”
Winset said he gave students a disclaimer before he started his Virginia Tech re-enactment, which involved him pointing a Magic Marker at students and saying, “Pow.” He then had another student shoot him with an imaginary gun to make the point that Cho could have been stopped by another student with a firearm.
Winset said the skit was meant to be a somewhat tenuous segue into an assignment asking students to examine whether the massacre has had an impact on the financial markets, which have remained healthy

What is your ultimate favourite saying? I have two:

1) Life isn't meant to arrive at the grave in a well preserved body. Instead, you should be sliding in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "HOLY ****! What a ride!"

2)There is no such thing as a good or bad situation. It's just how you make of it.

I beleive my religion (Islam) is correct because of the Quran and the Diversity of Islam. I never learned about a religion that encouraged its followers to learn about other religions and to see if it is better than there own.

I'm 26 years old and I participate in drug studies for a living and recently got rejected from one because my hemoglobin and hemotocrit were too low. My HDL cholesterol was too low as well. I'm thinking this is because I'm a recent vegetarian... its been about 5 months since I've stopped eating animal flesh. Otherwise, I'm healthy. I don't smoke and my BMI is a low 19.

Since getting rejected, I've started taking a multivitamin with iron, started drinking one glass of red wine each night (to help increase my HDL) and started exercising every day as well. Any thoughts on what else I could be doing that I'm not already? I want to screen for another study in a week or so.

my boyfriend went to spend the night at his "friend's" house (so he says) and he doesnt have a cell phone or anythin so i asked him can he call me and he said his friend dont have a phone in his house.....first thing that popped into my head was another girl....and i dont want to think that because thats my boyfriend and i love him very much and i have alot of trust in him too but i mean i dont want him to be doin sumthin on the side and then have the balls to say i love you after doin something like that...thats really hurtful and he said he would ask his friend to use his cell to call me and i havent received a call since he been there and its goin on 2 days now....what should i think guys because he's drivin me crazy and i dont want to have any trust issues wit him....
