I told this guy (a friend of a friend of mine) that I refuse to take care of another guy. He responded that I was a gold digger and that I was comparable to a hooker. What is up with that?

If you mean you refuse to take care of him by supporting him financially and him not working then you are not a gold digger. At this day in time it takes 2 to work or 1 with a real good job and the other to stay at home and be the at home care taker of the home and kids etc. So as far as being a gold digger they can blow that to S.H.I.T. in there dreams, and try digging their own gold!

Sounds like that guy is looking for a woman to take care of him.
Gold digger is someone that's just out for money and will base their relationship decisions on the amount of money the other person has.
It just sounds to me like you don't want a gold digger taking advantage of you. Don't worry about this loser and don't feel you have to take care of others unless you actually want to.

Some men just see it like if a woman is willing to take stuff from a guy or to have a relationship with him and not take care of the guy then the woman is out just to get what she can from him. The guys that see it that way though are just imature emotionally and have alot of growing up to do. Not all men are like that though.

i dont think ur consider a gold digger if u refuse to take care of someone else....gold digging is someone that is wit someone else for their money....doesnt sound like gold digging to me

it just shows that u have a life and don't have time for someone who isn't independent.
some people that think that they have to devote their lives to another person so that they won't leave them might say that it is gold digging.
