did she mean to include fellow libs, such as Alec Baldwin in the child-rearing process?

Is Alec Baldwin a good liberal parent?
A voicemail recording was circulated online Thursday in which the 30 Rock star insults his 11-year-old daughter, Ireland, after the child purportedly missed her dad's scheduled phone call, in which he calls her a "rude, thoughtless pig."

"Once again, I have made an *** of myself trying to get to a phone. You have insulted me for the last time!" Baldwin said accusingly in the recording, reportedly made Apr. 11 and obtained by TMZ.

Baldwin added: "I don't give a damn that you're a 12-year-old or 11-year-old or a child, or that your mother is a thoughtless pain in the *** who doesn't care about what you do as far as I'm concerned...The crap you pull on me with this goddamn phone situation that you would never dream of doing to your mother, and you do it to me constantly over and over again!"

She is wrong! It takes responsible parents to raise a child. We need to quit making personal responsibility issues such as raising children, adhering to and passing on to our children a sense of moral and social responsibility a victim of society issue. As for me keep the village away from my children because as we all know every village has it's idiot. As far as Alec Baldwin is concerned, you'd be hard pressed to find any parent of a pre-teen to teenager that hasn't lost his composure a time or two. If we respected the man's right to live his life with a certain expectation of privacy, and quit being everyone else's village he and many others would be better off. Recognize it as a disgruntled ex creating drama and move on.

In light of recent Republican Politician child molestation, that's not really funny.

The question for me becomes, "When do OUR Children become the Priority for this nation?"

"No Child Left Behind" left us with a higher high school drop out rate and the Lowest rated of any of the industrialized nations in education. Our Human Resources (children) is a renewable source that may not be able to keep up with the demands Globalization will bring. As a Nation we are letting our children down and ultimately our nation and it's future.

Even the village idiot can see that writing on the wall.

sHrillery is disguising her intentions, using new terms for her version of the socialism and communism, she's selling. Progressives = socialists. sHrillery does not believe in the family unit, her own nuclear family is a charade, her marriage with Bill has been over for 25+ years. Poor Chelsea is dragged out, front and center, for the media to be reminded there really was a physical relationship between, herself and her "husband in name only", Billy Clinton. sHrillery's book was an attempt to be her "Mein Kamf" to follow her legacy, to lead us to socialism. Unfortunately, for sHrillery, the liberal media chose Obama to be President, forsaking her for a far smoother, talking head. Unlike Bill, who has phenomenal people skills, sHrillery resembles her true savant, Joseph Stalin, with similar people skills and the charisma of gangrene. Yes, "It takes a village" is a slap in the face of the family unit, and an attempt to once again, sell her version of socialism, to the Kool Aid drinkers who are buying.

I think she was thinking of Joseph and Mary in the child rearing process.

"And when they had fulfilled the days, as they returned, the child Jesus tarried behind in Jerusalem; and Joseph and his mother knew not [of it]. But they, supposing him to have been in the company, (it takes a village to raise a child) went a day's journey; and they sought him among [their] kinsfolk and acquaintance. And when they found him not, they turned back again to Jerusalem, seeking him. And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, (by that time the boy had been unsupervised by his parents at least five days) sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions. And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers. And when they saw him, they were amazed: and his mother said unto him, Son, why hast thou thus dealt with us? behold, thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing. And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? Knowist ye not that I must be about my Father's business? (I wonder how many other times they had to put up with His smart-alecky answers?) And they understood not the saying which he spake unto them. (I bet Joseph's feelings were hurt, not to mention how humiliated he would be to have his "son" talk to him like that in front of the elders at the temple.)
