I am in legal trouble for a class 1 misdemeanor/ no victim involved. I was granted a public pretender who was unwilling to advance a valid defense in my behalf and only pushed for an expedited case through plea bargain. Now things have snowballed and I stand to go to jail which will cause me to lose my home, job, vehicle, community credibility, etc. I cannot find any REAL and ACTUAL local legal aid. I am not wealthy and have already spent all my savings and more on fines, etc. This is a nonviolent crime involving simple possession of about $2 worth of pot. The courts have lawyers and I don't. This doesn't seem like justice to me. I can't even get the public defender to listen or validate my side of this matter. I am being pushed along and can't seem to stop this now. Help please. Don't lecture me about pot, I need help, not sarcasm. Thank you

I myself prefered the tumbs rating. I know the stars is a more "postive" sign, but I liked the warning of many thumbs down.

I have asked Do you believe a SOCIALIST can be a LIBERAL? and cannot get not a single straight answer, always prevarication and dodge and weave. Can a 200 year old FAILED philosophy be remotely connected to those who call themselves liberals today, or are they lying and they are SOCIALISTS or do they thing progressive means 200 years old.

I have asked If you are a liberal? does it bother you to have socialists call themselves liberals? and Not One straight answer.

Come on libs, you want some respect, heres your chance, separate yourself from the failed socialist........show me that new liberalism is not just a rehash of failed marxism, show me you are upset that marxists are using your good name in vain.

I currently have fescue grass in my backyard and my dog (an Australian Shepard Beagle mix) likes to run around really fast and she ends up tearing the grass out because she's so fast. I think I need Bermuda or Zoisia grass because they're both so spoungey and she wouldn't be able to tear it up. But I have a large tree in my backyard and there isn't enough sun to grow Burmuda or Zoisia. Can I get genetically altered Bermuda or Zoisia that won't require as much sun as regular Bermuda or Zoisia?

The Catholic teaches that baptism removes original sin which stains all souls since the fall from grace in the Garden of Eden. Is their any scriptural evidence of this?

I've always believed that water baptism was ones public displays of ones choosing to follow Christ...am I wrong?

I had a Lymphoscintigraphy done today.
And I read somewhere that you can have a pain in your knee. Like, behind your knee cap.
And I had it done 12 hours ago, And I still have pain in my knee.
Is that bad?

I'm very interested in the Gibson Les Paul models of guitars, but I simply can't afford the $1000+ price tag for one. People have recommended the Epiphone substitute to me, which has a MUCH lower price point.

I know the differences between the two of them, and have done a great deal of research on the two, but there's one question that I've been curious to ask...

Shallowness aside, would I look "dorky", "cheap" or "rookie" playing an Epiphone? I know they are great guitars, but I'm not to sure how guitar vets view them.

Thanks to all who can help.

I'm looking for novels based upon eating disorders. I don't want to sound picky but I would like it to be more of a story than a non-fiction book. I have one really good book, Perfect, by Natasha Friend. I'm just looking for similar books where I can connect to the character. I am bulimic,so...... Anyway, Thank you for reading and answering!!!!!!! God Bless!!!

Seems like every 10 minutes, no matter what News program you watch, there will be a bunch of noisy jackals that start debating, and it's always over something stupid...

I want to see the World Events, but I am forced to turn the TV off so I don't have to listen to their noise.

Why has the News turned into the Jerry Springer show?

I have a goup of good friends, who are nice, everyday people. There is a really nice guy who is in this group, and I happen to like him. I have struck up a conversation with him a few times and he seems really nice, easy to talk to, and funny. I was wondering if I should go up and talk to him again?

Between ages 8-14, there were 3 instances when I resorted to stealing- all school-related. At 8 I stole food from people's lunches. When I was 12, I stole money from a girl's backpack. This is what I'm most ashamed about. I got caught right away, too. I didn't know/ have time to figure out how much money I took - it was a lot of ones and fives, was actually 40 dollars, which I think is a relatively large amount, especially for a kid. Again, some years pass without incident and I stole some dolls from a girl when I was about 14. That was the last time I did anything, and am an adult now. I have not continued this into adulthood at all, period. I still don't know why I resorted to stealing in these instances, I did not need the money, food, etc. I connect it with being very shy as a kid, never standing up for myself, and doing it was a way to act out or "get back". I definitely learned my lesson, but I still feel a lot of shame when I look back at these experiences......
