Well, this whackjob's interpretation is that the end "will come as a thief in the night". In other words, when most people aren't expecting it. There is no way to give a date. Maybe tonight, maybe in a couple hundred years. That's why it's best to be prepared. Cheer up- maybe you will get to see it. I think it will exceed your expectations.

Statistically, someone comes up with an "end of days" prophecy each 17 minutes. Therefore, someday, somewhere, Some prophet will have to be correct. However, since the sun will explode three milliseconds later there won't be time for gloating.

Nice to see prophecy being fulfilled.
"First of all you must understand this: In the last days mockers will come and, following their own desires, will ridicule us by saying, "What happened to his promise to return? Ever since our ancestors died, everything continues as it did from the beginning of creation." (II Peter 3:3-4)
But, it will happen. As it is written: "But they deliberately ignore the fact that long ago the heavens existed and the earth was formed by God's word out of water and with water, by which the world at that time was deluged with water and destroyed. Now by the same word the present heavens and earth have been reserved for fire and are being kept for the day when ungodly people will be judged and destroyed." (II Peter 3:5-7)

Not in my lifetime.....maybe this "apocalypse" happens to each individual at the time of our own individual death, not some cataclysitic worldwide event......just thinking outside the box.
