Have you tried those mole spike-traps? You find a mole burrow and step on it to squash it at one point. Then you pull back the handle on the mole trap so that its spikes are spring loaded. Now push the trap so its trigger is over the squashed burrow with the spikes at ground level. When the mole pushes through the flattened burrow it will hit the trigger plate and the spring loaded spikes will go down and spear the mole. Since moles are active around 6AM check and reset the traps in the early morning.

Goto a local store like home depot or waht not and pick up some Grub-Ex. This kills the grub worms the moles and gophers feed off of. Now the thing is, your neighbors may have them too. so you may have to sugest for your neighbors to do the same. Otherwise you will have to repeat this every spring and that isnt fun. Good luck.
You can also do the traps, they work just as well. But you'll do it every spring until they are all caught then do it over again and again.

You need to treat your lawn for grubs. The grubs are at the root of your grass, so you don't see them. Moles will go where the grubs are as it is a primary source of food.
So, get rid of the grubs by going to a garden center and buying grub treatment. You will need a broadcast spreader. Follow the directions. Good luck!!

finding on the size of your backyard, you would be fortunate that the mole will circulate directly to a neighbouring backyard in the tip. in any different case, if the mole seems set to stay positioned, or your backyard is sufficiently huge that he remains on your patch regardless of if he does return and forth somewhat, you certainly ought to % between living with him, as one in each of nature's lil critturs (and an admirable one at that), or catching and killing him with a seize, that's easier mentioned than finished. living with him potential poking the soil backtrack the tunnel under each molehill, making use of a stick of a few million" diameter, till now you mow. do no longer in straight forward terms unfold the soil approximately or you will finally end up with an particularly choppy floor because of the fact the tunnels subside. do no longer in straight forward terms run the mower over them, as soil is amazingly blunting to mower blades. in case you're uneasy approximately trapping, i could supply it some extra months, till Spring, to work out no count if he will circulate on of his very own accord. as quickly as you come to a determination on trapping, as you definitely will in case you value your backyard and the mole maintains to be positioned, bypass and get countless scissor traps out of your ironmongery keep, learn the training heavily, and if attainable get some advice (even help) from somebody who's conscious of the technique. do no longer use the so-mentioned as humane (stay capture) traps, a rapid kill is the main humane attitude and scissor traps are quite solid. once you have caught your mole, your issues won't be over, as, regardless of if moles are fiercely solitary, neighbouring moles could immediately circulate in on your mole's vacated territory (I as quickly as caught 5 moles in the comparable place in one week), so shop traps in place and stay alert to activity for countless weeks. it must be that in the process your section you will continually be liable to reinvasion, so shop the traps.

An exterminator will help set traps for them, and eliminate them humanely. They will be collected and released into the wild far away from your home.
