Planning on painting the stone around my house, washed them with muriatic acid, some of the stones turned a green tint color that wasn't there before washing, what causes the green coloration? Would painting on the green be ok? Thanks

I watched an episode of Southpark and they told a story about the Mormons and how the religion was founded. I understand that they joked about the religion and it was not a clear insight into their beliefs.
The episode showed how the founder looked into his hat and told the other guy to write down what the things inside his hat said (words of god I think). When was asked to look into his hat again for the words of god they were different from the first time. Is that true? Is that what happend.
Can anyone tell me the Mormon story or where to find it?

I'm 12 and i have been wondering about the new vaccine for cervical cancer. There is no history of it in my family but it seems like a good idea to get? What are the pros and cons of the vaccine? What do you think of it? I have heard that some schools are making it mandatory for girls to get it (my school doesn't) why is this and what do you think about? If I decide I want it how do I tell/ask my mom I want it or if I can get(I haven't really talked to her about "girl stuff")?

Early last year, I bought a Liteon 16x dual layer dvd burner, which came with CyberLink PowerDVD 5.0 (oem) dvd decoder software....I just built a new PC, installed the drive....now DVD's don't play, PowerDVD and Windows MediaPlayer 11 both crash when I click "Play"...I can play DVD-based games like Battlefield 2, Gun, GTA San Andreas...Windows Media Player knows exactly what movie I want to play, it shows the title, chapters, etc...PowerDVD knows if its a dvd movie or dvd video game is in the drive.
I am running WinXP Pro, 2 gb of ram, Core 2 Duo e6600, Liteon SHW-160P6S dual layer dvd burner....My software appears to be up-to-date....
The latest patch of PowerDVD...well, half way through the update process, I get an error message, "Catastrophic failure"

I am clueless on how to solve this. The FAQs pages on Cyberlink's page stink.....

Why is it Canada has days (or holidays) set aside to commemorate World War 1? I also see other countries also commemorate theirs from the first world war. The USA has almost FORGOTTEN this conflict.except for memorial day. 1) How many fronts were there? 2) Who were the allies of the USA. Which countries were fighting who? 3)Which country and who was the main antagonist (there was no Hitler or Japan)? I saw a movie last week from the 1960s called "The Blue Max" about the elite German pilots of WW1 but could not figure who was on who's side. Who's side was Germany on? Thanks

Help me please. i know this is going to sound really childish, but i need help. The reason i need help is..well my dad is really really sick and i am 12, he has food poisoning today. And the reason i need help is I cant go to bed without him tucking me in, and he is fast asleep and sick so i dont want to wake him up. What do i do. How does buying a bumper magnet help support the troops? I know these people mean well but it is not a realistic or helpful way to support this cause and I've even read articles where troops who were interviewed admitted to being offended by them.

Do proceeds from those magnets go to support the troops? No. Because of they did, this would be a strong selling point which would be prominently displayed to buyers on the packaging. But there's never any mention of monetary donations to support troops.

Have you also noticed that most of these bumper magnets are "Made in China"? So who exactly is profiting from these mass-produced and mass-sold magnets? Someone is getting rich off of them.
