I don't. Only people who don't like Heavy metal music are the ones who label it "the Devil's music." Those people usually misinterpret lyrics and label it as evil. For example, Iron Maiden's song Number of the Beast is labeled evil because its reference to the number 666. But it is really about a bad dream that the bassist had after watching the movie Damien: Omen II. So I also laugh at those people who call metal "the Devil's music." I think its hilarious!

No, some of it is just plain noise. Not all mind you. I like some of it.
I hate rap, but I wouldn't call that the devil's music either. He has too much sense to listen to that c-ap. Who wants to hear a bunch of people you can hardly understand talk to music. Now that takes a lot of real talent. And the content of it, disgusting, and they let their little kids listen to it. No wonder some people turn out psychotic.

Actually, rock as a whole was once called "The devil's music" back in the 50s.
But there's no denying that *Some* metal bands out there. (esp. the black metal bands) are most def' satanic.

Its the extremity of it. back in the day the extremely play around replaced into the devils device, because of the fact the sound it made replaced into rapid and extraordinary for the time. those days it must be simply by many heavy steel bands making use of anti-god lyrics, or worship of different gods - black steel and viking steel. maximum heavy steel bands do no longer play sluggish love music, and sing lots of hate, melancholy, and loss. With those powers mixed - Heavy steel is the devil. The devil performs a play around produced from gold. If i bear in mind wisely, Beethoven replaced into accused of taking part in the devils music at one component - only because of the unconventional use of the piano. yet particularly, you could ought to thank Black Sabbath. very virtually each thing with reference to the band replaced into religiously debatable on the time, and that they are for helpful, the very founders of heavy steel.

Anyone who has listened to Judas Priest's "Ram It Down" should know full well that metal is NOT the Devil's music. To me, Satan's music is either elevator music, or what passes for "Contemporary Christian." Isn't the irony rather hilarious?

I would only say that about black metal, but even in classical music the tritone was considered evil (the interval in mar-ia west side story) jazz was considered demonic, and the rite of spring. But now I only think death metal is.

maybe not devil's music, but is it even music? I find it incredibly useless. It seems to be an outlet for those who have a hard time expressing themselves normally, or they dont want anyone to know what they are saying when they let out their emotions. We may never know.
