The range of a set of numbers is subtracting the lowest number from the highest number, so your highest number is 9 and lowest is 1 So 9 - 1 = 8, 8 is your answer. Adding them all together and dividing by the amount that you have is finding the mean in a set of numbers. Hope this helps!
