I have been on for two nights and will be on sentry in the next 3 hours.

Sleep deprevation makes you a useless sentry. More than a nap, you need to learn to go to bed at the same time to condition your body and mind to rest!

Naps can help but may interfer in the long run with good sleeping patterns.

If you're tired, go to sleep. Sleep is good for the mind.
