I like to read and Im reading Martina Cole the runaway. very good but not a funny book. I'd like to read something that makes me laugh? What book would you say was funny and why? thanks.

i remember hearing that eating breakfast boosts your metabolism causing you to lose weight if you eat breakfast, as long as its small and healthy. i was just wondering if anyone knows whether or not this is true.

Okay, I am 14, and my little brother is 10 and my sister is 8. They always touch my stuff without my permission and its so annoying. Like today, they dumped out my shampoo and conditioner [which were $20 each!] and filled them with bleach. Then, they put soap on my toothbrush, took my eyeliner and replaced it with a sharpee marker [it looked exactly the same as my eyeliner], and went on my computer and put all these gay viruses on it. OMG they are so annoying. I told my mom but all she said was "ok ill talk to them". 5 hours later, they stole $30 from my purse and came into my room and read my diary. And last night, my brother and his friend took my bra and put it in the freezer. What do I do? I CANT STAND THEM ANY LONGER!

I found out when I was 31 that the man who I thought was my Father wasn't! Turns out the man who is my father was married at the time and having an affair with my mother. He came around for 5 yrs then went back to his married life as though I never exsisted. I am now 40 and this has been eating at me for 9 years, what is my background, what does he look like.
He is alive and well and only about 10 miles from my house.
My mother told me he was a "jerk" and very self centered. His wife now was the wife 40 years ago when he was having an affair with my mother.
She told me he never paid a dime in child support and she didn't ask for it. She also listed her husband which I thought was my father on my birth certificate. My mother died in 1999 and she told me to contact him and make him pay she had alot of suppressed anger towards him.
I wrote a him a letter but haven't mailed it yet. Any advice? I am so scared of the outcome.
Help....

anyone great a math to solve this challenge? if i have a 200,000 dollar mortagage at a fixed 5.125% apr for a fifteen years, would i benefit more by saving money if i make an extra month mortgage payment per year towards the principal or would i save more money if i did not pay the extra mortgage and took advantage of the tax deductions when i do my taxes?
if you also have read a book that would address this challenge, that would help, too...thanks

I don't know if we are still together. I really like him, and I am crazy about him. But Im not sure if he knows how much I like him. He says things to me such as "you can be with who ever you want" and "I think i'll be a single guy in the future". And that is definetly not what I like to hear. I know I should tell him how I feel, but how do I do that?? What should I say to him??

I asked two of my republican friends why they weren't interested in teaching careers. They both remarked that teacher and professor salaries suck.

I have this idea. For one 24-hour period, I will pick a religion and pretend to be a follower of that religion, just to see what it feels like. I'll pretend to believe in that other religion and try to imagine how life looks different from that perspective. I will do it respectfully, of course, as a way to come to a deeper appreciation and understanding of the other religion.
