what're the difference between these grand cherokee models: laredo, rocky mountain, limited and overland. i'm having a hard time deciding which one to get.

The difference between the model really comes down to equipment. Engine 4.0L V6. 4.7L V8 or 5.7 L Hemi V8) then the type of 4wd system your looking for, them it come down to the interior "toys" sound system, seats, GPS and so on. There is also some exterior changes with each model.

The major difference between the jeep grand cherokee models is that they are ALL LEMONS! STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM THESE VEHICLES. You will be in the service shop all the time like I had to. The one poster who said that he had problems with his window is telling the truth cause I had problems with my window and then some. ANd I mean and then some. Also, the 1999's are the worst of all of them...they are all bad but 99 was horrid! Notice Chrysler ain't doing too good these days. Right along with Ford. And that is the reason.

dont get any of them they are all junk......I have a friend who refuses to by anything but a jeep...he has has a new overland the and i think 2 laredos...they have all had a lot of problems with the windows working and the overland was the worst...the sun roof broke...the driver side door window...and the heated seats went...this was at 1 or 2 years old....another friend of mine had the wrangler 4.0 and he had other problems with it....

the only difference is the stuff they put inside the car for the most part such as CD players heated seat and mirrors leather stuff like that
