so my dog ran away and she came back limping, my mom said just to leave her alone to see if it would wear off..and it did, but she kind of loses her balance..so we took her to a vet because i was terrified(not as much anymore, but still am worried) and the vet said that she probably gotten hit with something..and my jaw went wide open..but she said that she doesnt think it has anything to do with the brain because she said that she would be depressed and things like that..yet when shes at home..she seems depressed..doesnt wag her tail when i bring her leesh out which she ALWAYS does, and im worried that my vet was wrong..any advice? i mean my mom is fed up with me right now cuz we had to pay 320$ for xrays and other stuff today for the vet, so she doesnt want to go back again and spend money, i personally think it has something to do with her brain..like head trauma? brain damage? because she had/has the symtoms of trauma(i looked it up) should i just wait it out??

He said that we have a big culture clash. It bothers him that I dont go around his family and that i dont like banda music and i dont speak spanish. He thought t would get better over the year, but he said its only gotten worse. I am so heartbroken becuase i thought we were meant to be. He said he loves and respects me but he just cant imagine being with somone who doesnt embrace his culture. i told him id make an effort but he doesnt belive me. i am devistated and feel so empty. what should i do? how am i supposed to get over this?

Because adult stem cells are specific to where they are located, that makes embryonic stem cells like diamonds, and given the fact that they are harvested from eggs that are less than days old, meaning cells in a petry dish, fertilized by in vitro clinics and donated with the donors express concent, then why is it unethical for the government to fund research that could save millions of lives of humans that are already alive and suffering.

I've been filling out the tax forms, and I worked as an independent contractor last year AND had a different job using a W2. I've figured out the taxes for the W2 job, and I think I've completed the taxes for the independent contractor job (using 1099-MISC and Schedule C). I'm just wondering it there are any deductions that can be applied to the self-employment tax. I've already made my deductions on business related expenses (car expenses, supplies, unpaid debt owed to me), but I was wondering if there's anything else. I am eligible for the Lifetime Learning Credit, but from what I understand, that's only deductible for the W-2 job.

Is there a way to claim dependents or exemptions from self-employment tax? I have two exemptions. If not, why is it that self-employment tax doesn't use exemptions?

I know it's a lot of questions...just trying to figure things out. Thanks!

Our Tax system has needed a major overhaul for years. I have been a strong supporter of the national sales tax. With a national sales tax everyone pays their fair share. If you spend, you pay, if you don't, you save. This eliminates paper work required to be filed by individuals for federal taxes and would probably reduce the size of the IRS. I don't believe the IRS can be completely eliminated because some agency has to be in charge of the collection of these taxes.

At a 10% national tax rate, $100,000,000,000 .00 of spending would produce $10,000,000,000.00 in tax revenue.

What does that mean for the consumer? Let's see. A night out for dinner and a movie would cost around $100.00. Most local tax rates are around 6.5 to 8.5% , so lets use 7.5% as the average. With the national sales tax, a $100.00 night out would become $117.50, but keep in mind that the 15% income tax would now be going home with you. Therefore on $100.00 of income you would pay $15.00 in income tax plus $7.50 sales tax when you spend that $100.00 for a total out of pocket of $122.50 as opposed to the $117.50 you would pay with a national sales tax. A savings $5.00.

Our income increased this year due to increase commision. I would have thought acct. would have seen this coming but now he says we owe 15,0000 + federal tax. We did the proper withholding etc. What could my husband have done differently to avoid this. Is it our own stupidity or acct. error or just fact of life. The accountant says it's this AMT tax. Seems to me it would be better to just earn less or atleast my husband needs to plan better cause we have not got 15,000. And he wants to use my inheritance to pay it till he gets paid again next year. Am I being ripped off and by who. Help please...

I got my puppy 3 days ago from a aminal shelter..i'm not sure how old he is but he doesn't look older than 4 months, when we first got him in the house he has horrible diarrhea, but then he settled down. He threw up once but it was just spit, he didn't eat the first day we got him and, i cannot really afford the vet right now. He's recentally not eating or drinking. but, i'm been giving him water unwilingly , He ate yesterday but not today. He's been siting up while sleeping which is kind of odd... My mother said he smells weird,, like infection. but we gave him a bath the day we got him. I just don't know what too do.

At what point does mono become CFS? I have tested postive for EBV (first time ever) and will be retested in another 2 weeks. My pcp has said not to worry and given me no instructions of what not to do, to take it easy or anything else to cause alarm. Also, my cardiac function is slightly compromised, I assume this is common to EBV. My question is, at what point should I actually start to worry about this and is there really nothing that I can do other than let it just resolve?
