I don't need it to play games. The only games I play are cards online. Need to know what details to look for in a basic computer such a speed etc... Computer Geeks help please!!!

lol kitkat. First off, I like how you ask for help by saying "Comp Geeks" :D.
The main thing you need to look for is the cpu if you want speed. Then the ram. 1gb should be standard. If you plan on running a lot of high end programs then you should get 2gb, but i'm pretty sure 1gb is fine.
I personally recommend any of the Intel Core 2 Duo's. You should check out the Intel Core 2 Duo E6300/E6400/E6600. I do not recommend the newer, but slower E4300. It has a lower Front Side Bus (FSB) and will be slower for about 30$ less. You will not regret getting the more expensive one. Good luck on deciding.

Cant be a gaming computer if its only using the Intel photos of the i7 2600,thats a nasty setup for gaming you desire a devoted photos card to get genuine looking fps playing video games on extreme photo settings.

buy anti virus 2007
dont download lots of things which may
harm your new soft computer
u must have a nice mouse and a modern
keyboard.

if thats all u want to do, the cheapest one in the store, but if u really want a good one make sure it has 1gb of ram, dualcore processor and flatsreen monitor and a really comfortable seat which i still need to buy
