My boyfriend and I have been together for a little more than a year and we have talked about marriage. He has even asked me if I would marry him, but he said he still hasn't asked "officially." He has even gone so far as to purchase a ring. He said I could see it if I wanted to and try it on so if it needed to be resized he could have it done before he proposed. I'm really confused and hurt by this because the element of surprise is gone now and when I told him this he said he wasn't ready to propose because there were still things that he "needed to take care of." I told him that I really felt like he was stringing me along and of course this upset him. Why has he gone about it this way? I feel like he has no regard for my feelings concerning this. Please, no crude answers! Thanks

Ok...Today my boyfriend and I were driving down the street (he was driving). It was raining out so obviosly the roads were slick. We stop at a red light and BOOM we get rear-ended!! I look back and it's an old couple (handy capped sign hanging in the rear-view window and all). So we go to pull over and they speed away!! I got the license plate number, but there's one problem. Neither one of us has a license. Is there anything we can do?? There is damage to our bumper. Are we completely screwed?? I know we're idiots for driving without a license, but I can't believe they just drove away!! What should we do??

I recently left a job where my paycheck was getting direct deposited. Will my last paycheck from there be direct deposited? Or mailed to me? It was already supposed to be in my account but nothing as of yet. I am worried they are trying to shaft me of my last weeks pay.

We know according to Bible both David & Joseph were mighty men of God. Both were WISE MEN, CHOOSEN ONES & had a VERY CLOSE fellowship with God. Basically have to do an alternate case study for our propylene plant......

We have about 200 lb/hr accumulation of methane and decided to see the cost effectivness of flashing it off before teh recycle loop.

Not sure how to determine certain variables...i'm using hysys.

our stream is entering the flash drum at 485 psi and 15 F.

Hysys is asking we input the inlet pressure and vapor pressure.

Not sure waht to do really. Drop the pressure before hand possibly??? Lowest temp we can cool our strema too is -40 F.

No matter what we do it says we have a negative absolute pressure. and it gives us a "can't determine delta P" message.

Even if you don't hysys, if you know how to determine the proper conditions, that would be helpful

Hi besides drive by pepper balling What can be done about these terrorists and traitors of the US? I have seen them have stuff thrown at them etc but what can we do seriously? Why don't we all band together and go after these people, I don't mind getting arested I am sure every soldier, soldiers' family members, even the DA would donate money to bail me out and I could claim insanity since They have spit on me in uniform before and also were at a funeral calling my dead battle buddy who is a hero a gay troop and all sorts of nasty derogatory names. i have a aspire 9300 windows xp and im trying to connect to the internet, there is nothing under "lan or high speed internt" souldn't there be some thing there for me to connect to the internet? it use to work like a week ago, since then i formated my hard drive and reinstalled windows, and now i dont have it, i know thats the problam but i cant go back now, so how would i fix this?

I live there, wouldn't live anywhere else! Go Austin! As much as I LOVE this city, I'm getting pretty annoyed by the huge influx of better-than-thou Californians who should be back in their state that they think is so great! They're just so jealous at the thought of their state being second-rate to Texas, so most of them carry their negative attitudes with them.

But, I digress before I sound too negative. I'm a native Texan and proud, and admire people who are natives or not who love and respect our state, its culture and its history. Thanks!

Ok, so now that the Duke Lacrosse players have been cleared and it is clear That the “Exotic Dancer” lied, will the good Reverend Jessie Jackson and Reverend Al Sharpton go into the streets of Durham tomorrow and protest? Will they DEMAND justice for these boys and hold the city hostage with threats of violence until that woman is brought up on serious charges? Will the Rev. Jessie “Hymie Town” Jackson and the Rev. Al “I got Jewed out of my numbers” Sharpton reveal that they are really just poverty pimps sucking the money out of their own people? Will they admit that they are just using the “race card” to line their own pockets and to keep the black community down for their own benefit?

And for you to young to remember those racial quotes and many, many more by these two “Reverends”, just know that they need to keep racial tension alive to keep their bank accounts full!

i feel awful... everything is so blah. no matter how hard i work, i can't get ahead, and i don't seem to know who i am. i can't put my thoughts into words, and i'm a mess of contradictions. i come from a wonderful family, and have many wonderful opportunities ahead of me, but i don't think i'm strong or "special" enough to get what i really want out of life. i'm afraid i'm weak and insignificant, and will be forever; my nightmare since i was little. does anyone have any advice for me? any tips, thoughs, anything?
