I doubt it will be, from past experience. Oftentimes a company will hold a last paycheck from being direct deposited. Direct deposit can sometimes cost companies a little, and since you're quitting, you no longer qualify for employee-perks. I would guess based on experience that your check would need to be picked up.

That depends on your employer. If you don't have a uniform to turn in or any other property to turn in before they give you your last check, then it should come in direct deposit. But, if you have things like I mentioned above, then they may cut you a paper check AFTER you bring those things in.

Years ago it was up to each company to decide how they made their last payment to each employee. I'd think, think being the key word, it's still the same.
However if you owe them anything, they will deduct.
Or if you have their uniform? They want it back, they may hold your pay back.
If it's longer then 2 days late, I'd call and be polite, ask what's up? If you need to go in for it. I hope you left under good terms.
Either way, regardless of how you left, if they owe you, they have to pay you by law. So don't worry, just call and ask.

Call the payroll clerk at the Company you worked for and ask them.
That's the sensible thing too do.

This is up to your old companies policy. Verify with your HR or payroll department. No matter what, they need to pay you for your time worked.
