If an acquiring company purchases the target company's debt and/or preference shares (along with the ordinary shares), would this reduce the target price than if ordinary shares were only acquired?

Would we expect to see the price reduce by the equivalent amount of the target's balance sheet value of the debt and/or preference shares compared to the situation of only the ordinary shares being acquired?

For a history test, I am supposed to find out two things for each of these 4 descriptions:

What might have the US and/or its allies have done to prevent the event?

and

Why didn't the US and/or its allies take action to prevent the event?



These are the four event descriptions:

1. Japanese Imperialism - Japapnese imperialism affected many areas of Asia, including Manchuria, a Chinese territory rich in mineral reserves that were important for supporting the military. The invasion of Manchuria was marked by the indiscriminate killing of unarmed civilians.

2. Munich Agreement - In 1938 Hitler met with British prime minister Chamberlain. Chamberlain appeased Hitler's demands for territory in Czech., setting the stage for Hitler's troops to occupy Czech. and invade Poland.

3. Bombing of Pearl Harbor

4. American Isolationism - In spite of threat of fascist aggresion, US pursued policy of isolationism throughout 1920s-1930s.

My friend learned the pledge of allegiance in her spanish class, and I was wondering..... I came to the conclusion that I don't think it's right to say it in espanol, BECAUSE the national language is ENGLISH therefore, you should say the national pledge in ENGLISH. Am I just being b*tchy? I really want to be on broadway and ive been acting and singing forever, i dont have an agent but i know i need to get one, i also heard you need an equity card too, but i have no clue how to get one!

If you have any idea about this or have any ideas that could help me get a broadway audition for (ex: rent, hairspray, momma mia, etc.) that would help also, any info you have please tell!!

Did he not know he was the son of God, and what he stood to inherit...Lets get real, If someone offered you a million dollars to cut off a finger, wouldnt you do it..?

What I am getting at is...He performed miracles, he had proof..So, what kind of leap of faith was it for him? It wasnt..

If I told you that I would give you 10 million dollars to jump off a bridge, and you had a pretty good Idea you would only break a leg....Dont you think you would do it...?

I think the faith in the Sacrifice of Jesus Christ is the overall crippling part of this religion..Come on what a joke...

my dog has many symtopms of heart worms-bloated bellly, depressed/lethargic, coughs, breaths really hard and seems to have seizures. i don't know what to do! i don't have enough money to bring him to the vet, i did buy him some natural heart worm stuff, but it is still on the way here. it is so sad to see this happening and not be able to help!
any ideas? suggestions? advice? i would really appreciate it!

I am 18 and just found out I am pregnant. I was not trying to get pregnant, so for about a month I didn't even know I was pregnant, and consequently plan on getting an abortion. During the past month I have smoked, drank alcohol, and done some drugs, and been taking all my birth control pills (thats why the pregnancy came as such an unexpected shock!). They have not done an ultrasound yet, so the doctor estimates the fetus may be anywhere from 4 to 10 weeks old. I have had no morning sickness whatsoever! Does this mean I have in all probability hurt the baby, or is it perfectly normal? In any case I am very nervous. Just for the record, if I had known I was pregnant this whole time, even though I am aborting it, I would never have smoked, drank alcohol, or taken drugs out of respect for my unborn baby. Thanks for answering!
