We are quite happy to talk glibly of there being no meaning to life other than what we ascribe to it or, alternatively, our having a sense of meaning in our lives, but what do we actually mean by 'meaning' in this sense?

What is the defining characteristic of an ascribed meaning regardless of its purported independence of the ascriber?

my 2 year old cat has takin to peeing on the bed sometimes last night and then again im running out of bedding i have taken him to the vet cleaned out his tray every day but it doesnt make a difference i am at the end of my rope i dont want to get rid of him but my partner is threating to take him to the cat and dog home if i cant sort him out !!!

when he was about 8 yrs. old he use to wake up screaming in pain. My doctor said it was "growing pains." Now at 24 yrs.old he said he has the same type of pain but behind his knee. He can barely talk it is so painful. I thought he might be thinking back to when he was young and had growing pains and since it was so painful to him then, he now thinks the pain is very similar to when he was young. Does anyone think there is any relation, is it in his mind, is it real? Help.

I live in London and I would like to do some lingerie photos/modelling. I have been surfing the net to try finding some agencies but nothing really seems serious and professional, I'm looking for big names, and secure places where I could send my application. I've recently just started on birth control.. and since yesterday i've been "spotting" .. or got my period. i can't tell. its not heavy at all.. but that's what happens when you got on the pills..i haven't made it to the middle section of my pills yet, and thats when im supposed to get my period.. and i heard when a girl starts taking birth control the first 3 months she might have spotting. anyone have any info? let me know :)

we not married but we see one another and she has a sister that is just as hot as she is . i went over to her place lastnight and she just got called into work. well i was taking a shower and her sister walked in and got in the shower with me. do you tell are keep your mouth shut. well guess you asking your self did we. ? well i never would of. but when i seen her with nothen on. i just couldn't stop my self from saying no. then my girlfriend came in about 4 hours later woke me up and i was so burn out if you get what iam saying. i hope she don't know what happen.

Im going to the doctor this Friday, I have a trail of blisters developing from the spine on the back of my neck all around the right side of my torso. Feels like a sunburn. My dad says that it looks like shingles but it's rare in younger people...usually middle aged and up are supposed to get them.... I am 22 years old.

Also I live in the house that my dad used to live in and when he lived here that's when he got shingles...so is it contagious? Or maybe a virus in my home that is causing this outbreak?
