I've recently just started on birth control.. and since yesterday i've been "spotting" .. or got my period. i can't tell. its not heavy at all.. but that's what happens when you got on the pills..i haven't made it to the middle section of my pills yet, and thats when im supposed to get my period.. and i heard when a girl starts taking birth control the first 3 months she might have spotting. anyone have any info? let me know :)

well it could be your period or it may be due to low dose of hormones in the kinda of pill you`re using . you may use another type with a higher dose after having your period this month .

It might be you period, birth control pill can make them a lot lighter. You might not be as regular the first few months of taking the pill. Don't have unprotected sex yet as it might not be working right, leave it until things straighten out.

Spotting is very common when it comes to adjusting to the pill. It takes the body about 3 months to adjust to taking the pill, but because of the cramping issue I would definitely check in with your dr to see what they think.

It will depend what birth control pill you are taking. 'Spotting' is normal for some types, but seriously, read the leaflet that comes with your pills - they are normally extremely informative and will tell you exactly what to expect; what is normal and what's not.
