Any shoes I still own are either in the attic or the very bottom of the closet, where they'll remain until the next time it's below freezing. Even then I don't put them on right away but rather carry a pair in a bag in case my feet get too cold; I don't want to get frostbite if I get stranded somewhere, but I have gone in cold weather barefoot without trouble quite a few times these past years. No, I shouldn't be wearing shoes. Places with a footwear dresscode are pretty much unheard of here in the Netherlands, apart from construction sites/hardhat areas and I have no reason to walk around those.
Btw, even in the US, in spite of persistent myths, there are no laws requiring footwear in stores, insurance companies don't require or even recommend footwear for customers, and there are no laws requiring footwear for driving.

Why should I wear shoes, I prefer to wear boots, for these boots a made for walking, just wait and see, if I can walk right out of your heart.

My shoes are next to the couch. Its 9:30 pm I don't need my shoe on before bed.

Well I have a bad leg so I can NOT wear shoes. So I have to wear boots. And they are on my feet.

Honestly I don´t know where they are, I have not seen them in a couple of days.....I don´t think I should be wearing them, I´m on a break....by the way, it is much better being barefoot, a good way to be....=)

no worries they are right here under the desk, i just needed a few minutes without the boots of heaviness on.
and really why are you in my office asking me about my shoes, where are your shoes?!

Nope! I'm just lounging around the house. Sometimes you forget how things like warm grass feel under your feet! I'm keeping them off!
