4x^2 ≥ 13x -3

4x^2 -13x +3 ≥ 0

factor

(4x^2 -1x) + (-12x+3) ≥ 0

x(4x - 1) + -3(4x - 1) ≥ 0

(x-3)(4x-1) ≥ 0

since the equaiton opens up

x ≤ 1/4 or x ≥ 3

(4x-1)(x-3)>=0
x>= 1/4, 3

First make it equal to zero and solve to get the two roots. Then try a point to the left of the lower root; a point between the roots, and a point to the right of the higher root. Whichever section(s) works, that's where the solution set is
