Idly curious as I just ran across it, but these examples aren't meant to be all-inclusive.
Someone posts a question about Islam. There will be 5 posts up there by certain Christian posters saying to read the Bible and accept Jesus.
Conversely, someone else asks a question about Biblical stuff, and there will be posts in there about this and that Sura and hadith.
A third person asks a question about religion as a whole or innocuous and frankly interesting stuff like good verses for a kid's baptism, and here come the comments of, 'Well, I have a brain, so I don't need religion, so why bother asking? Atheism is the way to go.'
I haven't run into this from Hindu, Buddhist, or Jewish posters, but if there are examples, feel free to list them. I'm just curious why people don't learn to pick their battles. What makes folks do that? If you're commenting and are not the religion of the thread poster, don't do anything in their thread that you would be annoyed if they did in yours.
