I heard Mickey Dolenz is for rent...Would that do?

The only purpose you could buy a monkey in Ireland is if you have a legally authorized Zoo, or you were doing research at a laboratory. The law is very specific about the keeping of wild animals. Why on earth would you want a monkey anyway, don't you think they are better off in their natural environment rather than being someones pet?

Purchase of animals are already regulated. Ask the concerned government office in Ireland if you are allowed to buy a monkey thereat and if this can be brought to other places without violating animal rights and customs regulations.

Perhaps the traveling circus has an extra monkey about?
or the zoo is retiring a performer? In Ireland, the only monkies are likely to be English so you will have to settle there. You can tell by their accents.
