The average working week I believe starts on Monday, finishes Friday, which is five days over seven, two days off at the weekend.

A job that is specifically advertised as 5 days over 7 to me hints that Monday might not actually be the start of the week for that particular job, is this true?

I only ask because I harbour dreams of joining the Territorial Army (Reserve/weekends) and I don’t want to work weekends for those reasons, apart from that I’d have no problem.

If the industry makes any difference, it is the food industry working as cook in basically a children’s play centre/party centre. Which I'd have no problem working odd weekends, just not every weekend.

The order says that neither parent can have overnight guests of the opposite sex to whom he or she is not related, engaged or married when in possession of the kids. If he would just live decently, we wouldn't have needed a court order, right?
I date, and I don't have men over when the kids are there ( or not, actually). What makes that so hard?

I take meds for migraines sometimes/most likely caused by allergies, been to allergist which was a bust, family doc has given me singular as a last resort (I've tried all the others so please be Singulair specific). I'm primarily worried about the possible side effect of "headache" since I'm prone to them and I haven't found anything specific to that on the web. Thanks!

We've been together 7 years and I carry the relationship. I do everything and I literally mean everything for him. Yesterday we ended it because he thinks that I don't love him the same way he loves me yet he didn't shed one tear didn't apologize never looked twice at me once I got home why??? He's acting as if nothing life changing is going on. He even said our relationship was a waste of time for him for us to just break up, that crushed my heart. I love this guy more than anything but he hurts my feelings so bad and just acts like he could care less about my feelings and what I'm going through. Should I try to hold on and work on it he is the father of my child and it has been 7 years or should I just forget about it and try to get on with my life??? Please help!!!

Recently, our local hospital has implemented a Dunkin Donuts within its main lobby... I have found that there is NO LINE there in the morning and have been going there to get my morning coffee (since the other Dunkin Donuts in town have a wait upwards of 20 minutes).

I normally park in the emergency parking area so I can run in and get my coffee, and up till this morning I have not had an issue. Today, my car was on the 'hooks' of a flat bed and they were moving it on when I came out. I tried to discuss this with the tow truck guy, even offering him a bribe but he REFUSED to take my car off the hooks.

I felt this guy was VERY rude to me and I'm thinking of pressing charges against the tow truck company...I was in that parking spot for less than 2 minutes and he had my car...it was almost like he was waiting for me...

do I have a case against him and my 100.00 impound fee?

Let's use this example - 30k annual salary

Would you do:

1) 30,000 / 2080 = 14.22

14.22 x 160 (for four 40hr work weeks per month) = $2307.69 per month gross income

OR

2) 30,000 / 12 = $2500 per month gross income

The reason I asked is because in my current job, the math works out like in option #1. I get paid bi-weekly and calculated using the gross income value.

But in my new job, the offer letter states my annual and monthly income in which the monthly income math works out like option #2.

What's the reason for doing it one way or another? Which method is correct?

Last night i had a really weird dream about Eminem, ok 2 years ago i shook eminems hand at a concert and thats where the dream took place but instead of me going home that night in my dream we started dating and it got really weird even terry"hulk hogan" made a cameo.

I find it quite.. unbelievable that germans likes to wink at people (all kinds of people). My parents' german friends like to wink at me, at first I thought that person was just fancying me, but it hit me when I realize that I got that a lot (from germans w/ diffrent age and sex). I was with my bf for 12 months I got pregnant and then he left me because he said he didn't want the baby. I'm 4 months pregnant and a bit worried about raising the baby without its father. To any men from your personal experience, do you think he will want to be more involved with the child after its born? And if he decides to should I forgive him for how he treated me? Ok, so, 3 years ago I was 5'6" & I have been shrinking at a rate of 0.5 " (half an inch) per year. This has all been measured by my doctor at my physical every year & each time, they do it twice (using different measuring thingy's ) to double check it. I do not have scoliosis 9that was what they first checked for) &, just recently (last month) had a bone density test done & my bones are actually stonger than normal (so it's not osterporosis).

Does anyone know what can be causing me to shrink & what to do to make sure I don't anymore? ( I also have a high level of calcuim & vitamin D in my system, so, I cannot intake any more calcium....actually have been told to cut back after the test said that my bones are stronger than normal...so it has nothing to do with not enough calcium)

Oh, &, I'm only 26. (so it has nothing to do with being menopausal or anything)

Large credit card charge. The item in question was not what it appeared to be, but if I had looked closer at the website I might have been able to figure it out. I realized only hours after internet purchase I had been duped. Freaked out and reported card stolen. Now they want a police report and I'm just really stressed about the whole thing. If I tell the truth am I going to have to pay? What should I do?
