where the hell are all the regulars and what is going on in here, serious answers from concerned adults, people saying "kill the hippo" ? I am afraid, I am sooooo afraid, will somebody hold me?

Maybe they are saying ''Kill the hippo'' as a reference to Lord Of The Flies (there's a lovely little "kill the pig" chant in the book).
Or maybe they're just a bit odd and you shouldn't worry about them. They won't have access to any hippos in their padded cells.

I know, it's horrible. These people are so scary! It's all REPORTER GIRL's fault. But the hippo has risen from the dead you see, and maybe just maybe things will get back to normal soon.
