I would say "yes."
Yet, I think this kind of question ultimately has to be answered by you. Otherwise, you will only be listening to what other people say and not finding out for yourself what you think.
Some day, if you can find some time, just think about the world, life, the universe, etc. Think about how people seem to have a general idea of good and evil. See what you come up with. Then challenge your own ideas with what others say. You'll figure it out.

There was a point in my life when everyone around me including my friends and family, left my side, because I was being "bad" and when I got over my slump they could come back. Well you know who was always there, even when I was "bad"? yes, God! That is in most part why I have so much faith in him, because I know that he is there, and that he listens and loves me. And I am so thankful for his kindness, and for his justice in me.
God is there for everyone, some of us chose to let him in and others ignore him. Either way he is there. Whether you want him to be or not...

no. the reason a lot of people believe in god is because when they were young aka gullible their parents told them god was real and most of them believed their parents.
