Ok, so, 3 years ago I was 5'6" & I have been shrinking at a rate of 0.5 " (half an inch) per year. This has all been measured by my doctor at my physical every year & each time, they do it twice (using different measuring thingy's ) to double check it. I do not have scoliosis 9that was what they first checked for) &, just recently (last month) had a bone density test done & my bones are actually stonger than normal (so it's not osterporosis).

Does anyone know what can be causing me to shrink & what to do to make sure I don't anymore? ( I also have a high level of calcuim & vitamin D in my system, so, I cannot intake any more calcium....actually have been told to cut back after the test said that my bones are stronger than normal...so it has nothing to do with not enough calcium)

Oh, &, I'm only 26. (so it has nothing to do with being menopausal or anything)

It could be your posture and tightening of muscles. Definitely try stretching and yoga. I started that about six months ago and I have "grown" almost an inch. Good luck!

Maybe it's your posture or a tightening of muscles and ligaments. Try yoga. It feels great and improves posture.
