This has only happened twice that I can recall. I will be laying down to go to sleep and it will be as I am dozing off, I will feel very heavy pressure in my ears and hear very low humming, buzzing type noise. Kinda like when there is no sound at all but the sound of silence is loud? But its much louder. Make sense? Probably not. Anyway, while this is happening, it also seems to paralyze me. I am awake but I can't open my eyes or move, and when I finally am able to move it stops. Its so strange. And no I don't do drugs or am not on any medications.

My friends old imac, (the one that came in different colors), has a bunch of my flicks on it and I need them badly!! My friend said a couple days ago the computer started turning on and shutting off after a few seconds, it wont stay on. Anyone know what the deal is??

but is confusing me - daily. The other night he acted like he wanted to be together said we will take trips this summer we had sex.
Last night I asked why he had sex with me and he said I am just chilling I have already told you that I want to take it slow and there is no one else.

We have dated off and on for 6 years. We were living together 3 months ago and split up.
I thought he wanted to reconcile but now I am not so sure?
He said we just needed to take it slow and everything will be ok.

I've been on Active Duty with the Air Force for 12 months and want to be commisioned through ROTC, can I still get benifits through the G.I. Bill or will I have to wait the regular 36 months of Active Duty?

I've heard about the "American dream" from when I was a child but in truth haven't the foggiest idea what it is.
It can't be anything to do with freedom or liberty because when it comes down to it, the ordinary American is the most enslaved citizen in the western world.

We're having a terrible snow storm in New Jersey today. When I picked up my pre-school aged son from school his teacher told me that she had to stay at the school until 6p tonight for late dismissal. I have a nice relationship with her and happen to know that she lives about 45 mins. away and drives a car that isn't great in the snow. I told her she should call us if she needed a place to stay tonight or at least have dinner to wait the storm out a bit. When I came home and told my husband, he was very annoyed that I didn't check with him first. He thought that was very inconsiderate of me. Should I have consulted him before extending that invitation to my son's teacher?

I am sorry that you feel I don't understand you. I do, but sometimes it's hard to decipher when you are mad or joking because you will say hurtful things. When I ask if you are joking or try to talk to you, you will look at me with disgust or ignore me and that kills me on the inside. I don't understand why you would pretend to be mad at me and usually when someone is joking, they smile or laugh and they don't "act" mad for a long time. I am just really confused, and I am sorry for the misunderstanding. I am sorry that I am too sensitive, it's just how I am. You have hurt me very mad in the past few days. I needed to talk to you, yet you seemed to not care. The reason that I never told you a long time ago how I felt was because I saw the way you behaved with them and you told me many times how you liked them and needed them, and that hurt me very badly. I am not jealous, but on Thursday it made me feel how I felt in the past.

Maybe we should as a nation motion for equality, NO BLACK HISTORY MONTH, just AMERICAN HISTORY. why not give black people true equality instead of singling them out? why not treat them as equals instead of giving them "special treatment?" why not mesh their history with the history of the nation instead of discounting it and making ti a separate thing?
I think its disgusting myself. If there were to be a white history month the USA would implode from all the "racism" that was being spread- its only racist is whites do it. Why can't people just settle for EQUALITY- why demand the special treatment?

Hello, my husband and I are looking into buying a new puppy, but we are unsure of what breed to buy. We like chows, chihuahuas, puggles, etc. But I was just wondering if anyone could give me some ideas of more breeds, that are GOOD with kids, not too hyper, don't shed too much, and are not too big because we have an apartment.
