After about 15 minutes driving the "Check Engine" light also turns on.

The "Check Engine" light came on, because the computer must know how fast the car is going to properly determine timing advance, fuel delivery etc.
The most probable cause is the V*ehicle S*peed S*ensor (VSS) sensor, or the connection and wiring for it.
Check the connection and insure that the connection is solid. If so, replace the sensor.
Refer to a quality repair manual for the location of the sensor. It will be located somewhere on the transmission, probably near one of the axle shaft outputs.

Service ur vehicle
must be oil is less but that doesn't have any connection with the speedometer
speedometer gets stuck chk the electrical wires
