All these Republicans have said global warming is real and is being caused by human activity.

To pretend that this is a liberal vs. conservative position is simply incorrect.

Personally, I believe all of them are correct, as is Gore, and the overwhelming majority of climate scientists.

They may not be lying, but they are all politicians. They will say anything when money is involved. The only reason Al Gore talks about global warming is to sell his movie "A Convenient Lie". It's the same reason Michael Moore wanted to talk about Iraq. He was simply promoting that stupid movie "Fahrenheit 9/11". That's the only reason anyone discusses global warming. They either want to use the issue to score political points with the public, or they want to make money by talking about it. Global warming is caused by the heat coming from the sun. Sometimes the sun is really hot and sometimes it isn't. There's nothing humans can do about that.

i do no longer understand, yet i understand this: mutually as Al Gore replace into working for vice president in 1992, he insisted many situations decrease back that the 1st ingredient he ought to do must be to assemble a collection of experts from each and every container (scientists, industrialists, and so on.) to paintings on coming up new selection means factors. IN 8 YEARS, HE DID no longer some thing OF the type. Al Gore's roots are in super oil, and he's a globalist, a hideous blend! Why did they kill the electric powered vehicle? How can super oil make money off of an electric powered vehicle?? The "Earth shape" and "time table 21" on the instantaneous are actually not related to the ambience, they are all approximately administration, especially by international bankers, over the completed planet.

Many people believe that Global Warming is a fact.
It is NOT a liberal/conservative issue.
However there is a huge disparity on how it should be addressed and whether we can have any meaningful impact on it.
Much of the current backlash against the Al Gore position is that he grossly overstated his case, and now a staggering number of well-respected scientists are coming out to say 'hold on a minute - your 'science' is flawed.'
I don't know if Mr Gore is right...perhaps he is.
But I certainly do not think we should dismantle the US economy based on his theories.
Open, honest debate on the subject is what we need.
At this point there is NO definitive diagnosis - therefore no effective remedy can be prescribed.

If this is such a huge problem talk to China they have done nothing why is it always the USA that has to step up to the plate. Prove to me that it even exists something Scientific something other than junk science then we can talk!!!

I don't care who says what. Fact is the polar caps are melting away. Permafrost is thawing and we as a planet are burning 80 million Barrels of fossil fuel each and every day. that fuel is, in essence, stored energy from millions of years ago and it's heat energy is being released into our atmosphere in addition to the sufficient amount of solar radiation we would normally get. CO2 levels are higher than we've noted in the past which helps keep solar energy in as well as this additional fossil fuel heat.
If I have a large pot of water simmering on the stove and I tweak the heat up and put a lid on it, I'm not surprised when it hits a rolling boil or confused about why.

Global warming is not caused by humans.

Earth warming and freezing has occurred many times over eons and has been proven many times by excavations showing that was so when man did not inhabit the earth, or existed only in relatively small populations.

To think that man could control the world's temperature is as stupid as those predictions that atomic bombs would end civilization as we know it. As terrible as those bombs were, those cities in Japan are now inhabited and flourishing.

The people who cry global warming are like the children's fairy tale about the chicken who cried 'the sky is falling' because something fell in the chickens path one day.

Something needs to be done about those people crying 'global warming' -- they are a danger to our world, they're upsetting millions of people and costing millions of dollars trying to correct something that cannot be changed.

CO2 levels are the highest they've been in 650,000 years, not 20 million years.

And it's BEEN WARMER during those 650,000 years, heck for two multi-century warm periods since the last Ice Age. And it's been close to this warm for at least one other multi-century period since the last Ice Age.

Do we have some impact? Sure, we must - CO2 traps heat and we've added to the CO2 concentration. 1/11,000th of the atmosphere is now CO2 that wasn't in 1800.

Do we have a material impact? We do NOT know that.

Limbaugh and other no nothings when it comes to science are the only folks perpetuating that Global Warming is not occuring. Right, and evolution didn't happen, DNA is a mispelling of the acronym DNC, and Nixon was a wise misunderstood man.
