Im 37 weeks pregnant and my mucas plug already broke and i think im having braxton hicks !!!

It all depends on how much you do and how active you are.
If you walk and keep on moving it will be faster than if you lay around and don't. You need to watch for any leaking and you should know that all contractions are not pain-full you need to be very aware of your body right now and the changes you feel. If at anytime yo feel the urge to push down go strait to the doctor. I had no pain with one baby just dilated and was time to push. Pushing was when i had pain. The only reason i knew i was in labor was a little pressure in my belly on and off regularly. GOOD LUCK!!!

The only way to tell really is when your contractions get closer together. Time them. I was 3 cm for so long that they had to assist in the end as my waters had broken and is was not safe for the baby.
Hopeing to have an easier time this time but every birth is different.

all depends on the woman i went from 1 cm to having a baby in less than 12 hrs my cousin was at 3 cm for like 2 weeks before she had her baby

sorry, depends on your baby and when its ready to come on out! I was at a 2 1/2 for the last 2 weeks of my pregnancy.

It all depends. I went 4cm dilated for 2 weeks when I was pregnant with my 3rd son.

well if they become more regular you need to go to the hospital because if you are dilated to a 3 you are on your way you could go from a 3 to 10 anytime.
