There seems to be a growing opinion that America 'rode to the aid' of its mother country, to save it from defeat in not one but two world wars.

This is not an opinion I myself have. Firstly, you entered both wars (although late but we'll skip that bit) because Germany & The Japanese decided to sink your boat(s), and not to save poor little old Britain.

And Yes I'm sure Winston Churchill was delighted to have an ally with the resources at your disposal, but we had managed to hold our own at both El Alamein, The Battle of Britain, and during the Blitz, all of it alone (no thanks to the French)

Im not trying to stir up some ill feeling here, but i'm off the opinion that riding Hitler was the greatest thing our two countries have ever done, and it was done together (although Stalingrad did help)

Maybe its just because of films like saving private ryan, but we were on those beaches too, just as we are today in the middle east. If any one can prove otherwise, im all ears....

I had bought my honey when she was 2 months from a pet shop.All the 18 years she was with us, we kept her as our daughter, her own toys, her own bed linnen, etc.she slept bet me and my hubby. all her life we never ever had to raise our hands on her. Last year she had an attack and she lost the use of all her four legs. The whole year she was at our mercy for all her needs. We did our best to do everything possible to keep her happy, dry, and clean. Since last 2 months she developed a habbit of whining. she wld stop the moment we used to pick her up and cuddle her. the moment we left her she wld again start, first we thought she must be in pain, but on observing alone and in the presence of the vet we found she wantd our atten thats it. so at times just to quiet her we had to hit her not harsh, just a rap with a newspaper or a rap on her rump, but now that she is not around i feel so bad that i had to do this towds the end of our bond. will my baby forgive us. my heart bleeds for her.

long story short husband cheated i forgave him. other woman is claiming pregnancy but we know for a fact she is not but just in case i had a couple questions.

can the guy refuse to take a paternity test if he is positive baby is not his?

if he is made to take it would he have to be in contact with the woman?

when the baby is born could she give the baby his last name without his consent or signature?

we have a pyscho on our case. hubby confessed immediately after cheating and broke all things off with her. she has no contact at all with him due to us moving and changing numbers jobs ect. but she has my phone and knows my car and stalks me. she is intent on breaking us up. she was jilted i guess and went crazy. not sure why since they were together only 4 times and she is a family friend who knows me and my kids. but she has the nerve to come to my face and tell me she loves him and will take him from me!

i have been found guilty of benefit fraud before you judge me i dident do this crime i want to know can i apply for home detention before im sentanced the ammount is for 24,000 which will be split in to two half for me and half for my partner but the judge wants us to go to jail for somthing we dident do help how do i keep myself from going away ive go four kids and one on the way im really scared my sister in law was the one who started this for me she works in winz and now that ive been found guilty she has quit her job and got one higher an fraud investergater i feel set up does this sound funny to you she need this for her new job what can i do

Ok, So If I am sat on a plane, which is travelling at 500mph, am I travelling at 500mph too? Even though theoretically I'm not moving?
Secondly, If I walk towards the front of the plane at let's say 1mph, am I travelling at 1mph, 501mph or 500mph?
Finally, If I walk towards the rear of the plane at 1mph again, am I travelling at 1mph, 499mph or still at 500mph?
