i did a ton of research on the dogs elbow after my whippet dislocated hers. i cant find any of it but i went to the library looking for anatomical books and photocopied loads, i just cant lay my hands on any of it, google anatomy and structure of the dog and it should throw up some good books you can go and check out. failing that contact liz on her website www.animalphyz.co.uk she is very helpful and freindly and really knows her stuff, she sorted out my whippet and if your question is to do with a problem with your dog i highly recommend her

I'm not sure what you need to know. The most problematic item of a dog elbow is the ligament . They are often torn and need surgical intervention.

You could find out about this in any dog anatomy books if your comparing it with human terms.
