He is very clingy. Doesn't speak yet (going to start speech therapy next month). Has 8 mo old sister that he isn't interested in quite yet because shes still little yet will pay attention to her if she grabs one of his toys, lol. Is always under my feet. I play with him all day practically but can't get anything done. There is no Moms Day Out programs available where we live. Pushes me away from counter if I try to make dinner. Sits on daddy's lap when he comes home but gets up continuously to see where I am at. Daddy's plays with him, I play with him, he just wants to be held constantly. I've tried finding kids his age to play with but am having no luck. I try teaching him new things but hes not interested. Hes happy to just sit on our lap and play with our hands. He will get down for maybe 2 minutes but the minute we move to do anything, he practically attacks us and clings to us. Like hes afraid we will leave him or something. He won't play with his toys for very long...

Ok I have been working for the same company for almost 4 years now and was informed this morning that me and my fellow coworkers no long have a job..What would you do? How would you feel? I mean I just got my 9th promotion and was working my way further up the ladder.I'm a wonderful employee and so are the rest of the people who lost their jobs today..But do people really realize how hard it is to find a good job anymore? what are the people who have been with the company supposed to do who have been there 19,15, 12, 10 years who know nothing else or maybe the ones who are up in their age I mean in their 50's and 60's who do terrific jobs....even the managers have no jobs waiting for them unless they want to pack up and leave with their families who have jobs as well and that was only offered to the GM not the other managers..

I read something in the paper today and there was a highschool girl who was being interviewed and was asked what her plans after highschool were. She responded that she was going to be an actress, journalist or some other sort of writer but 'god' told her to join the Marines instead and 'god' explained she would be doing better things in the Marines and blah blah blah.

Do you usually associate behavior like that with some sort of mental instability?

I like this girl in my office and she sits next to me. There are a bit of cultral differences but overall I think she likes me. I think she has given me a lot of hints. I am relatively new in America and she's born here. We know each other since 6+ months. I am deeply madly and truly in love with her. We both are single. The problem is that I am very afraid to ask her out. As we work in the same pleace I am afraid that if she says no then we would have a very awkward situation at work and also spoil the great friendship that we share. I have also thought about asking her out for movies or dinner however I hav'nt yet done that as she always goes out with her friends and as you can say that I have very few friends.... Please HELP ME!!!!!!!!

Hello again,
Another question about theses. How would you approach a professor? I mean there are some posted thesis topics and a lot of them are open to suggestions too. So if I wanted to reply to a posting, should I email them? or find out where their office is and their office hours and go talk to them? or .... and what do they require from a student? I mean I'm pretty sure they don't accept everyone, so what do they look for? Do they set it out so that its a doable task within the time limit?
