when i click on any icon such as "windows media player" i get a box that asks me to "click the program you want to use to open windows media player.ink'.if the program ...etc."so i go to do it and the program dont wanna open.i think i have corrupted files.

yeah something is really screwed up. The ink files are shortcuts to the main exe. Right click and go to properties. It will show where the shortcut is to. Go to where it links to and verify you have a file there. click the file and if that loads then you have a problem with your shortcuts not being interpreted as shortcuts

ya you probobly just gotta buy wmp(windows media player) and redownload it cause it sounds like it is corrupted
