it says we like to listen to music. gustar is the verb "to like" You need to find the past form of oir (to hear) and then add musica to it.
I know a little spanish - thats all I know, otherwise I would give you the answer

no - everyone is half right....it translates:
we used to like listening to music.
I think it is written wrong....if I am right it would be:
nos gustaba oir musica.
there are two past tenses. this tense is used for things that used to happen frequently.
Like: we drank on fridays: Tomabamos los viernes.
OH!!! and we listened to music is:
escuchamos musica.... although this is also present tense - we listen to music.
- we used to listen to music is:
escuchabamos musica...

Whoever said this meant "We like to listen to music" are very confused by the verb gustar. Gustar does NOT mean to like per se. It means to please. If you want to use gustar in the "like" context, you must reverse the subject and object. Too long to explain here, ask your Spanish teacher or your Mexican neighbors.
