Okay. If there's a tornado coming, and your in the car, and there's no shelter or ditch, and you get out and lie in the flatest area possible, why would a tornado pick up your car instead of you?

I'm just looking for a nice guy I can spend time with. Although it would be nice to have a boyfirend I never pressure a guy to get into a relationship. I can't even get 2 that point. I don't know what is wrong with guys in my age range (21-25). The same thing happends to me every time. A young man approaches me and tells me he's interested and If I find him attractive I give him my number. We talk for about a week or so then he stops calling me. When I call him he says his busy or just won't answer. I'm wondering did I do or say something wrong. I just end up disappointed everytime . The only guys that do call me are the guys I'm not attracted 2 and I don't think that I should have 2 settle. I dont know if its about sex but If I have known a guy for a while and he seems nice I would be more than happy 2 give it up. We never seem 2 make it that far. I just want 2 meet a nice attractive young man who is not going 2 lose interest in me after 2 weeks.

Nearly every episode of every show we get here is spoiled majorly by the 'next week' preview at the end of the epidode we just watched. There's no suspence in Lost because you can guess the ending. We just got 'Every man for himself' of lost and the promo for next week was 'are they still on that island' was this the same in America, did they give away the ending a week earlier? Please no spoilers for lost as we have only seen up to every man for himself

The new US commander in Iraq, General David Petraeus, said on Thursday reinforcements pouring into Baghdad have a long task ahead of them and warned there is no military solution to the conflict. Not at all he stated.

The general also said that Iraqi leaders would eventually have to sit down and talk with some of the violent factions tearing the country apart. We must talk with the Insurgents who have been killing our troops.

This most likely will end up like Vietnam. We will lose.

18 never had a boyfriend, feel like I will never get one. Why is it all my friends have had a boyfriend but not me. Is there something wrong with me, yes I am quiet person but that shouldnt affect me for who I am? Boys watch my friends but never me, life sucks. People stare at me because I look different, i get people talking about my looks behind my back and I used to get teased.

And please dont say I shouldnt care what people think because its the fact that boys dont chat me up because of what they think of me. Maybe I should get plastic surgery or something. At this age I should have a boyfriend by now, obviously no one wants me, what I am going to do? Is there anyone in my situation or am I just retarded?

first off, my parents have been seperated all my life. my mom married a man when i was like 3 and i call him my daddy. but i just recently developed a great relationship with my real dad. for the past 3-4 years, we have been getting closer and closer. a couple of months ago, he told me that he was moving to italy and i imediatly wanted to go with him. last week, my mom told me i can move there but none of my friends or family are happy for me, especially my stepdad. he actually cried in front of me! so, should i feel guilty? isnt this supposed to be an amazing oppurtunity for me? why do i feel bad about wanting to live with my dad? I was dating this man for about 4 months. I really care about him. The other day we had a deep conversation about our relationship. And he told me he was not ready for a relationship but he still wants me to be there for him i told him i want more than just a friendship so that it wouldn't be a good idea if we talk anymore, and he agreed with me.
