How long are you gone? If it's more than 3-4 hours day, then you need to get your dog into doggie day care. This will certainly help with the barking issue.

I don't mean to be rude, but you knew that dogs bark *before* you got one, right? If barking was going to be an issue, then it probably wasn't a great move to get one. Even 'non-barking breeds' will bark, especially when being left alone.

If the issue doesn't start to resolve, then consider giving the dog back to the breeder or to a breed rescue group while she's still young. Puppies have a much better chance of being placed. This way you won't have to move and your dog will be able to find a home that matches better.

You could try talking to your neighbours about it and explain to them the situation. If your away for long periods of time you should get your dog some toys and things to occupy her. Puppy's love stuffed toys and toys they can chew on like Kongs which give them food the more they chew on it. Look into some different toys for your pup and see which ones are best for her.
If you are training her right, the barking won't last long because she'll soon realise that if she's quiet, you'll come back but if she barks, you'll stay away. When you get home, if she's barking you shouldn't go to her until she stops. Even if you wait just outside the door so the instant she stops barking, you appear with a treat and some praise she'll realise that if she's quiet, she gets treats and attention but if she's noisy she doesn't.

Good luck with your pup.

Well, unless you want to electricute your dog everytime she makes a noise, or pay thousands of dollars for a new house, i would recommend trying to train your puppy. Many dogs have problems beign away from their owners, especially puppies, that results in scratching at the door, biting at furniture, or excessive barking. What you should do is start off very slowly by putting your puppy in its crate and slowly walking away, still staying in view of the crate. If the dog barks, scold her with a clap and a strong "NO". If the puppy does not bark, you can let her out and praise her with pets and possibly a treat. Do this same exercise again, but instead walk out of her sight. Same rules apply with scolding and praising. Continue to do this type of training, working slowy to leaving her in the crate for long periods of time. good luck!!!

Make sure the crate is a safe and cozy place for your puppy, put them in there with the door open when you are home and put treats in there as well as toys to make them want to go in there. Another trick that works wonders in all the dogs i have seen is, go to the dollar store and buy a little clock that makes that annoying tick tick tick sound, wrap it up and place this in the crate under the blakent or bed you have in there, this sound to a puppy reminds them of a heart beat wich gives them comfort and a safe feeling, i have used this trick with ALL my dogs and have never had a problem it works WONDERS.

you should tr each your dog TO bark . yes that's what i said. if you teach her to bark on command and that will teach her not to bark for just any reason.to teach her , pour a bowl of unsweetened cereal without milk.
now, sit in front of your pup with the cereal. reach in and pick up a kernel. hold it up and look and your pup and say "speak" then pop the cereal in your mouth and eat it. smile and do it again your pup will soon make a sound say good speak at any sound she makes(even a loud breath) and give her a piece. after while of rewarding any sound , only reward barks or the closest to it if she barks before you tell her , look away mad and eat the cereal yourself . once she barks on command , tell her more than once ("speak...spaek...speak") . after a few of these say hush. if she stops , reward her if she keeps barking look of into space until she stops then reward her. good luck and it doesn't take as long to do this as it is to read it sorry . good luck

First off even when you are home let her go in and out of the crate at her own will.Put chew treats in with her and let her chew them with door open. When you leave her cover crate(they sell crate covers) and put safe chew treats in with her.Go to pet store and ask for a kong fill it with baby food and freeze it.Ask pet store employees for safe chew treats to leave with dog while you are gone.Careful some treats are safe to leave others are better when you are watching the pup.Make the crate the most happy experience for her.I know of a web site that sells crate covers.www.jbpet.com
