I was dating this man for about 4 months. I really care about him. The other day we had a deep conversation about our relationship. And he told me he was not ready for a relationship but he still wants me to be there for him i told him i want more than just a friendship so that it wouldn't be a good idea if we talk anymore, and he agreed with me. The problem is i work with him at a hospital, but different departments but it has been a week we have not talked. I have to see him in the halls when i am not in the office. It hurts so bad, what should i do when i see him????

suck it up and keep it moving. He was honest with you about his feelings. He could have lied to you, and kept stringng you along. Besides I'm sure you're not the only person feeling a twinge of pain when you guys pass in the halls.

Dont say anything at all he clearly does not want to be with you so why bother. And for him to say he wasnt ready for a relationship, technically you guys were already in a relationship since you've been dealing with him for 4 months. Thats just a load of crap he was giving you and your right to stop talking to him. Same thing happened to me and my ex and i live across the street from where he works. I havent run into him yet but he did some pretty messed up things to me including down playing our relationship. So, i would definitely just keep it movin if i ran into him. No one likes to be ignored
