i need some help. i might get headgear and im a girl that isnt the coolest kid in class so headgear wont make my life easier. what should i do?

How do you discipline a 7 year old boy who just doesn't care about consequences for his actions? He constantly gets in trouble at school, such as knocking a book out of someone's hands, throwing a kids jacket in the mud, (he thinks it's funny), etc. His teacher has even made a journal for his daily behavior. He is NOT my child but my boyfriend's, I'm at my wit's end... He listens better to me than to his own parents but I feel they need to do the disiplining and not rely on me.

We have tried many approaches such as...
Time outs (he will sit there all day if he had to)
Taking away privilages (T.V., video games, etc.)
Writing sentences (100, 200, etc)
Going to bed early,
you name it...
he just doesn't care beyond getting a whoopping.

I believe he has classic symptoms of ADD or ADHD...

Help! My sister in law is smoking pot with her 3 yr old on her knee, and I found a mirror with cocaine residue and a razor in the bathroom after her older son asked me to help him find toilet paper. I called child protection and they said I have to make a police report but this process could take weeks to lead up to and investigation, is there anything else I can do? We live in Illinois if that helps.

During a routine exam, my doctor found a nodule of my thyroid. I have since had an ultrasound, which revealed that I have a nodule on each lobe. One of them is about 3 cm. I'm currently waiting to see an endo on March 22.

I've been doing a lot of research lately about how many people have had FNAs which were benign, and later, they found it was actually malignant, partially because the nodule was big and it was hard to biopsy every single part of it.

I'm going to ask my doctor all sorts of questions, but I was wondering what the actual risk of cancer is. I'm 23 and female and my thyroid bloodwork all came back normal. I've read many statistics all ranging is possibilities: 5% chance it's cancer, 15% chance, etc.

Anyone have any useful knowledge on the subject who can help me?

Our daughter is 13 months and drinks whole milk. We plan on bringing milk with us (which is fine). But we need to keep it cold. Are we allowed to bring an icepack through security? If not, how is the milk supposed to stay cold?

My name's Dinah, I'm 19-years-old and the mother of a beautiful baby girl, Hazel-Marie. Hazel-Marie's father, my ex-boyfriend, kicked us out of his apartment recently and, since then, we've been living at my parents' house. I love my daughter more than I could have ever imagined, but lately I've been going through some depressive emotions about the break-up and actually find it hard at times to be around Hazel-Marie.
