I ask the question, bcoz I was expecting more from some people who like books........

I suppose that I did get a majority of my knowledge from reading, but I have always felt that I learn better from listening than through reading. The problem is that it is easier to be selective about what one reads than what one hears. And so much of what one hears is dreck.

I think that is true, because even in school...it is from the books that you get the learning, and if you don't learn to read well it is a big disadvantage all the way through your life.

I love to read....have since I was three years old...and it is absolutely terrible the way they say children can't learn. They are just not taught well.

In our entire family all my children and grandchildren love books!

Reading...best thing I ever learned because it gave me the ability to find the answers to all the questions that no one wanted to answer.

I do not thinkmost knowledge comes from reading for not every thing you read is good. and also a great percentage of knowledge comes from experience
