A tax on air passengers was attacked by tour operators on Monday who said they planned a legal challenge which could force the government to repay holidaymakers and airlines more than 2 billion pounds.
The Federation of Tour Operators (FTO) said it would challenge the legality of Air Passenger Duty (APD), adding if its high court bid is successful the government would be forced to scrap the tax.
Do you think the tour operators will win ?

Hi there i have an old tv with just one input (scart) that i have my dvd player plugged into which works great. but now i have also got a nintendo wii and i want to have both plugged in at the same time (the tv is up high and keep swapping the leads over is not going to happen!) is there any adaptor that can turn one scart socket into two or more? if so please let me know what it is and where i can get it from!

ps i dont know if this would make a difference but i am in the UK. i dont think it will apart from where i can get it from!

I have been having extremely sore breasts for about 2 weeks now, unlike any type of soreness that I have had before. It's to the point that I wake up in the middle of the night if I bump them or sleep on them. I should have gotten my period about a week and a half ago but it hasn't showed up yet. But, my breasts have never ever been this sore from pms. Why are they this sore and what can I do to make it a little more comfortable?

25 male had a reoccurence of disc prolapse in L4-5. I tried taking tarction (intermittent - 50 lbs weight) but it did not help rather seemed to be aggrevating so I stopped it. I am reluctant to try epidural injections. Can some one pls let me know if they have tried spinal decompression, non surgical type eg: DRX 9000 or Accu Spina, can it have any negative impact on the disc prolapse condition. Are these treatments considered as a standard form of treatment for disc prolapses ?

My cat has recently started howling at my closed bedroom door. It used to be that he would just meow when we were in there and going to bed, but now he does it whether we're in there or not. We just recently had him fixed (about 2 weeks ago) and he responded fine, so I doubt it's a heat -- if males can go into heat. We also make sure his bowl is always filled, his litter is clean, and we play with him until he's completely tuckered out. Anyone have any ideas as to why he's so whiney all of a sudden? It's driving us nuts.

So I went to pick up my inhaler at the pharmacy on Friday, only to find out that the makers of Albuterol have switched to the new environmentally friendly (no CFCs) version of the drug. That's fine and dandy (although I seriously doubt that it will make much of a difference). Well, it TRIPLED THE PRICE! And that's WITH insurance!! I need to know if anybody else out there knows of a different inhaler that I can request my doctor switch me to that isn't so rediculously expensive. I read on about.com that they will most likely be banning all CFC-containing inhalers, but somebody has GOT to be making an affordable version! This is just assinine!

I have read a book about zombies and it says it is a plague caused by the chemical solanum, causing the body to reanimate after dying (shortly after infection) making the person crave human flesh, thus infecting them.
I also read of about 20-30 recorded attacks which all showed striking similarities on how to kill zombies, their appearance and how they act. I also read that a nation tried to breed a zombie army but destroyed the site and scientists after an outbreak claiming it was a missile test.
So, are zombies for real?
